2024 Texas Longhorns

Texas has started 7, 6, 8, 9, 8, 5, 6, 7, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 5, 6, 4 and 6 whites. 7 this year.
Texas enters the SEC with a slight bump to 7. Ewers should be a major prospect. DT Bill Norton transfers over from Georgia and Arizona. Former walk on Taffee still in a position battle at safety. Pretty dark team with a handful of interesting positions.

Offense -
QB - Quinn Ewers
TE - Gunnar Elms
LG - Hayden Conner
OC - Jake Majors

Defense -
DE - Ethan Burke
DT - Bill Norton
FS - Michael Taaffe *in battle for position

Back ups include QB Arch Manning, WR Parker Livingstone, OC Connor Robertson, RG Cole Hutson, and DE Colton Vasek.

Wow! Three white starters in Austin and of course Ewers at QB. May have to watch some Longhorns this year.

Certainly a team to watch in 2024. Ewers is the potential number 1 pick. Has some Favre to him if you ask me.

Nice write up Leonardfan! Yes indeed.... Quinn Ewers fan!! Like the Brett Favre comparison! His performance against Alabama TWICE proved he should be a early 1st round pick in the NFL. (or #1 like you said!)

D End Ethan Burke @ 6 '- 6" really stood out on the TV screen; a difference maker! Maybe he's been watching some Aidan Hutchinson game film ?

Interesting D Tackle Bill Norton has ended up in Texas! Now listed at 6'-6" 335lbs!

Michael Taaffe was on my 38 player 2024 DB list ...was considering showing him on the next DB post! (had 18 pics so far) He should see plenty of playing time!
Maybe another Walk on DB McCoy Bruce (Freshman) follow in his footsteps!
....Scanning the Roster see plenty of Walk-on WRs ; DBs & RBs....hopefully a few can make an impact if given the opportunity!

Texas is already down two afflete RBs for the season. Down to 3 scholarship guys now. So maybe an injury or two away from an unheralded walk on getting some touches?! Lol
