2024 Rice Owls

Since 2005 Rice has started 14, 14, 8, 10, 11, 10, 12, 14, 11, 10, 12, 9, 10, 12, 10 and 12, 9, 9 and 9 whites. In 2024 the Owls are projected to start 10.


Rice will certainly be a CF team of interest this year. Uberproductive QB EJ Warner (son of Kurt) transfers over from Temple and could really provide a consistent catalyst for the Owls offense. Dean Connors came out of nowhere last season and is a fun big play RB to watch.

Funny side note is that Patrick Mahomes half brother Graham Walker transferred to Rice. Of course the father played a very absentee role in raising Walker much like the divorcing Mahomes mom and leaving her to fend for non-White children. Amerika 2.0!

Players to look out for are AJ Padgett, TE Ethan Powell, WR/PR Drayden Dickmann, DE Michael Daley. Rice's 2nd team OL is a Snow Plow.

Overall disappointing depth on defense on the most current depth chart.

Hahaha, I was thinking similar thoughts. Man, the DWFs of Shitcago really loved to hate on him and we know why.

But regarding Rice this year, good looking starting unit and definitely one to watch and root for. Go Owls!
