Since 2015 (skipped the 2020 Covid Season) the Monarchs have started 5, 3, 4, 5, 4, 5, 4, and 3 whites. They look to match their "high" water mark of 5 this year

The one bright spot is a huge one - 2023 1st Team All-America Jason Henderson who led the nation in tackles per game last year with 14.2 and 170 total tackles. Should be a 2025 draft lock. Keep an eye on the record books too. With 142 tackles, he'll become the all time NCAA tackle leader

Offense
Maarten Woudsma - C
Grant Wilson - QB
Zach Barlev - RG
Keanon McNally

Defense
Jason Henderson - LB

Two Deeps
Pat Conroy - TE
Spencer Dow - LB

Hopefully Henderson gets some national notoriety and a senior bowl invite. A tackling machine!

Just looking over the transfer portal and it looks like with fall camp ramping up the enrolled transfers are being updated. Old Dominion actually has some 6 Whites coming in that might bump up the numbers.

QB Emmett Moorehead from Boston Colloege
RB Bryce Duke from Va Tech
TE Pat Conroy from Merrimack
OT Zachary Barlev from Illinois
OL Colin Henrich from Ga State
OT Anthony Pratt from Arizona

One of the more White friendly transfer classes.

Yes indeed Leonardfan! Meant to comment last week.... Saw where Bryce Duke (Jr. 6'-0 210) was 3rd Team; hoping he can get into the rotation; looking forward seeing him get some quality weekly stat-lines.
As a Freshman in 2022 at Va.Tech had a nice 27 yard TD catch!

ESPN Top 100 CFB players were announced this week....
Tackling Machine LB Jason Henderson was 89th! Pretty impressive stuff!

i

89. Jason Henderson

LB, Old Dominion, Senior
2023 stats: 51 solo, 4.5 sacks, 1 FF
2023 ranking: 60

Over the past two seasons, Henderson has been a part of 324 tackles in 24 games, an incredible 13.5 per game and one for every 5.1 snaps. In that span, no one else made even 280 tackles. He had more tackles for loss (24.5) than missed tackles (21). He is an absolute tackling machine.

8th Ranked LBer acording to PFF for the 2025 NFL Draft

Jason Henderson, Old Dominion

Henderson has been one of the nation’s best linebackers at finding the football over the last couple of seasons. Since 2022, he’s seventh among FBS linebackers with 104 plays where he made first contact on the ball carrier. His 121 tackles in that span are the most in the country.

His level of competition will be a concern, as will his size (6-foot-1, 227 pounds). However, Henderson has NFL athleticism and a nose for the football.
