Here's a guy's comment at canalstreetchronicles, lol...

"I hope the Saints hire a Offensive minded coach and put some guys around Rattler like Green Bay did Love remember he was very good as rookie but they put players around him and look at them now".

I think he meant to say Love wasn't very good.
tell him I'd rather have Bobby Hebert under center right now.

I’m also hearing that the interception was the tight end’s fault. Did anybody see it?
Yep. It was written very obviously that his near flawless debut included an interception which, I quote “which was not his fault” just to ensure anyone questioning the laughable narrative be quickly corrected.

Draft some honkeys in 25 especially on Defense. Simple thinkin
I’d love to see them grab Sawyer or the D Lineman from Michigan.
And yes, a Baker-like contract for Purdy is fair. Lots of mouths to feed in SF. The window is closing.

Agreed, I think Purdy’s contract should be reflective of his play, which has been OK this year. They have had a lot of injuries and that has certainly affected it.

But if he were to get an astronomical contract, they wouldn’t be able to sign certain players and their window for a Super Bowl is closing fast, probably only the next two years.

The most depressing thing to watch the past two games has been the demotion of Cooper Kupp. He had zero catches in Week 15 followed by a paltry 3/24 in Week 16. I don't know if his numerous leg injuries have caught up to him to explain this or not but Nacua is the clear number one receiver while Kupp has been reduced to near scrub status. He's still on the field, but predictably is sent in motion on nearly every play and then blocks whether it's a passing play or a run. If there's such a thing as a blocking wide receiver to go along with the White specialty of blocking fullback, he's it.

Of course he's always heralded as an "unselfish team player" and probably won't speak up for himself. The Rams have a good chance of winning their division so there's no way he'll complain about anything. Just sad to see.

I agree Don. His fall from the Best Receiver in the NFL a few years ago to a few token receptions here and there is not easy to watch. Our
guys though most of the time just go along to get along. Most don't want to rock the boat & especially at the end of your career. Maybe they will go to him more in the playoffs. Let's hope so as he is too good to just ignore. Even Matthew Stafford knows this in the back of his mind. Come playoffs I'm hoping it's Kupps time to Shine!

Yup it seems they want to benefit Nacua at the expense of a better receiver in Kupp. Having said; that Nacua is a good receiver but not near as good as Kupp.
Kupp is definitely faster....

Kupp is the most complete receiver in the league. His injuries have surely hurt him, but still Kupp at 80-90% is certainly worth a lot more looks than he has been getting.
