2024 NFL Week 12

I would be so stoked if Pierce somehow gets enough of his long receptions for a 1000 yard season. he leads the NFL with 22.7 yards per reception still.
It looks like Pierce has taken a step forward in his career after two so-so seasons. I think he's justifying his high (especially for a paleface) draft status. He's also been mixing some shorter routes into his production. And gaining some confidence.

Pierce needs more consistent QB play. Richardson has been better in that regard since coming back from his benching but still has a ways to go.

Sam Darnold with 330 yards and 2 TDs to lead the Vikings to another win (9-2). The odious Bears take another L. Sam’s comeback has to be the biggest story of the season, at least from a CF point of view.

Harrison Smith, AVG and Blake Cashman all had good statistical games for the defense.

Edit to add: TJ Hockenson also had his best game since returning from injury. 7 catches for 114 yards.

I'm not watching the Raiders game but looking at the box score thus far shows 5 rushes and 4 catches for the legendary Abdullah, no touches for Laube. Has anyone even seen him on the field yet?

I don't know, I think the fact that we have two starting white cornerbacks is the CF story of the season ;)
Maybe we should do a Castefootball Awards. LOL.

Sam Darnold is certainly “comeback player of the year”.

Laube has a 59 yard kick return but is being totally screwed over on offense. Practice squad call up “Sincere” McCormack has 2 carries so I guess he’s the backup?

Packers 19:05, 49ers 4:22 time of possession so far in the first half. Atrocious!!
Packers 17- 49ers 0.

TD George Kittle!

Juice and CMac were also utilized as pass receivers on that drive.

CMC needs to get going. It's going to be a tough game for him without Purdy.

I gotta go with Backrow. But Darnold is a damn good story too. I'm happy for the kid.

But two white CB's starting. Start of a light trend upward, or just time for a 20 or 30 year cycle? I know I can still see that comet every night. Might be related to the CB thing.

In the coal bowl game, Trey McBride has 5 catches for 59 yards already. For the Seachickens, we’ve got Bobo and Barner sightings but just a catch each.

Brandon Allen needs to throw to Kittle until Blackers can stop him. Total mismatch there.

Riley Moss leads the Broncos so far with 4 tackles and one pass defended.

Unfortunately, Riley Moss questionable with a knee injury.

Excellent TD throw by Bo Nix!

Lukas Van Ness called for encroachment, reminds me that this first round draft pick and potential beast is still serving a racial apprenticeship.

Will Levis completed 75% of his passes and averaged 11.6 yards-per-attempt in the Titans' 32-27 win over the Texans. Easily his best game of the year.

“Sincere” up to 4 carries and Dylan still at zero. Having a PS player leapfrog your 6th round draft pick who’s been on the 53 man roster is an awful look. Pierce is a hack, DEI hire for the awful Raiders franchise. They deserve to be losers.

McBride over 100 yards on the day. The Magical Midget throws a pick-6.

Kittle up to 61 yards but the 49ers are struggling….
