I like the Chargers, too. They used to be a team that for a long time shunned Whites at TE but now Dissly has unexpectedly emerged and McConkey keeps getting better as his rookie year goes along. The o-line is 3/5 sumo but that's still an improvement over the usual 4/5 with the selection of Alt. Then they have Fox and Bosa on defense.

Herbert's foot and ankle injuries are behind him and now once again he's a smart and effortless runner, much like another big man, Josh Allen. Hopefully the Chargers get one of the wildcard spots.

Ended up watching this whole game last night, Herbert made everything look effortless in the 1st half, very impressive. Burrow's comeback was equally impressive. The Bengals secondary was awful in the first half and the interior DL wasn't much better. It looks like they wised up and benched future bust 2022 2nd round CB Cam Taylor-Britt and this replacement was more effective. Might be too late for the Bengals to make a playoff run though. It looks to be a wasted year despite Burrow playing at an elite level.

McConkey taking over the game late was also great to see. Both McConkey and Bowers should be sending ripple waves through the mass formation psychosis that is the caste system. Will people start waking up any time soon? Or will White outlier syndrome win again?

Interesting to look at the three main recipients of targets for the Chargers last night. Dissly caught 4 of 6 targets for 80 yards, McConkey caught 6 of 9 for 123 yards, but Quentin Johnston caught just 2 of 8 targets for only 48 yards despite Herbert's accuracy. Johnston was the team's first round pick last year and was terrible but has improved some this season yet still clearly leaves a lot to be desired. Herbert was trying to force-feed Johnston much of the second half, which not coincidentally was when the offense was sputtering as the Bengals mounted their comeback and only ended when Herbert began focusing on McConkey down the stretch.

The Bills roster is weaker in almost every way than the Chiefs. Josh Allen is the difference. Glad to see this Chiefs team brought back to reality after one of the luckiest runs in NFL history.

Fun watching Josh Allen do Josh Allen things. That game-sealing touchdown on 4th and 2 was kinda amazing. Chiefs main problems are the long-armed non-boring-footed offensive tackles/turnstiles and their CB play. Of course which race is not allowed to play these positions (Cooper DeJean and Riley Moss excepted, but only this year)? One guy, Nazeeh Johnson, gets cooked weekly because he can't keep up with the opposing receivers. Early in this game Josh Allen threw a really nice ball to Amari Cooper, but Cooper was so open because he was simply pulling away from Johnson. Johnson supposedly ran a 4.35 on his pro day at Marshall. I guess putting on pads slows him down to a 4.89 or so.

This has turned into a helluva duel between two great quarterbacks.

Almost as scintillating as the Hurts/Daniels and Wilson/Jackson tilts this week, eh?

Man, I fell asleep at halftime and missed a crazy 2nd half. So happy for Ladd coming back and having another great game. Burrows and Herbert are two of the best as well. Starting to feel bad for Joe Cool however as he’s tied to a rotten defense.

Interesting stats for the Chargers as 209 of the 297 receiving yards went to White men. That reminds me of the Patriots heyday.

I went to bed just after halftime, looked like it was going to be a Chargers blowout. Should have stayed up just a bit longer!

Just checked the Cowboys-Texans box score. It would be nice if McCarthy said screw it and just gave Leupke 20 carries in the game.

The Cowboys are a dreadful team. Their defense is one of the worst-tackling units I've seen. You look at Stroud's numbers and think, "wow, he must be airing it out!" No. it's all one yard dinks and then YAC since Dallas can't tackle. Same for Joe Mixon, racking up the yards and TD's.

Tuned in just to root for Cooper Rush since he's about the only white guy on the field. He did throw a really nice slant for a 69 yard TD earlier. Hard to root for the 'Boys, but Houston is total coal.

Just checked the Cowboys-Texans box score. It would be nice if McCarthy said screw it and just gave Leupke 20 carries in the game.

We can dream, but it won't be this game as Hunter is inactive with a calf injury.

Troy Aikman: "Micah Parsons has been all over the field this game." Yeah, to the tune of 1 assisted tackle. On the season, during which he's missed four games because of injury, Parsons has 17 total tackles and 3 sacks yet is always mentioned as one of the very best defensive players in the league.

I dont want to jump on Troy too much though as he's more critical of what happens on the field than any other network booth analyst. He doesn't do it in a harsh way, he's subtle but if you listen carefully he does a lot of calling out of bad plays, lack of focus and execution, etc., undoubtedly because he was a perfectionist when he played and it's probably all he can do to tone it down as much as he does.

Well, two key plays on a who gives a shite Monday night game: Texan's RB high steps into the end zone on a short TD run and a Cowboy tries that lame shoulder dive to punish him. The RB sees him coming and hurdles him to cause a clean miss. After he's already scored.

Then on a field goal attempt some doofus ball boy recovery specialist attempts to catch the football after it clears the goal posts and manages to run over a kneeling photographer.

On a side note Mike McCarthy is toast.

I can't remember the last time America's Team was in this bad of a state. Add the Dak contract to the list of organizational failures right below the Deshaun Watson deal which will probably never be topped. There was a brief window for the Cowboys but Dak failed to deliver, and for whatever reason Jerruh doubled down on mediocrity. If he signs Parsons to a major deal it'll be the final nail in the coffin for this franchise.

It's great to see a hyper-black team fail like this. Prescott's success was due to a dominant o-line and running game. Once the wheels fell off Elliot and the very good Cowboys OL fell apart the offense was exposed. The defense on the other hand is a joke. Jerrah probably misses Sean Lee, LVH, Tony Romo etc right about now. The Cowboys are certainly a shining example of caste system failure.

Jerry Jones and his end of the line struggles remind me of the way Al Davis faded out. A once proud franchise stumbling along with a bunch of no name players who mailed it in once the season was lost.

Interesting comparison, but I don't think Pelosi ever had anything to be proud about.
