We've already passed the halfway point in this NFL season. The Thursday night matchup this week is actually a good one. A good one in at least we have a clear rooting interest. The Cincinnati Bengals get to visit the Baltimore Ravens. All CF eyes will be on Joe Burrow hoping that he can lead his team to a win over the black as a raven Ravens.

Really hoping that the Bengals will put Charlie Jones and Trent Irwin on the field early and often to compliment their excellent TE corps. O line is very caste in that the short-armed boring-feet crew man the inner three positions while the long wing-span quick-hipped sumos occupy the all-important tackle positions .

Defensively the Bengals are well above average with DE's Sam Hubbard and Trey Hendrickson along with LB Logan Wilson blinding the opposition with their paleness.

The Ravens only feature tight ends to bail out everyone's favorite MVP Lamar. They increased the white o-linemen content this year in order to keep him upright. Other than that there is only FB Pat Ricard who sometimes comes in to be a battering ram. Defense is blacker still with only DE Brent Urban coming in to break up the black monotony here and there.

Might stay up a bit to watch this one unless the Bengals blow it early.

Gesicki should have another strong game. He has 173 yards and 2 TDs in his last 2 games as the second target with Higgins out.

Charlie Jones is doubtful with a groin injury so don't expect to see him playing tonight. Trenton Irwin has just 3 catches on the season after having 25 last year and 15 the season before. Gesicki is the most likely "White hope" for the Bengals on the offensive side of the ball tonight but he's had games when Burrow has barely targeted him and only has 30 receptions through 9 games.

Also, the Bengals have been using four different tight ends and Gesicki has played over 50% of snaps in just one game (53% in Week 8), though the rookie All is out for the season after getting injured last week so maybe Gesicki will benefit from that. It's a big time waste not to use Gesicki full-time as a pure receiving TE but as I've noted before the Bengals seem to be "growing" in the wrong direction this season.

Jones is officially on the inactive list for tonight's game. Although it probably will make no difference black TE Erick All (primarily a blocker) is out and Cam Grandy was elevated from the PS to take his spot. The Ravens got slightly whiter as LB Kristian Welch was brought up to the active roster.

Hendrickson is leading the league, as Don mentioned, with 11 sacks and is on pace for 20+ after getting 17.5 last year.

Just watched a pre-game interview of Lamar Jackson as he went to the sidelines. I couldn't understand hardly a word that he said. And he's got a "grill" on his teeth. He's definitely the "holy grail" among black QB's for the movement. Straight outta the 'hood.

Ravens will now lose a timeout on a bad challenge over a 1 1/2 yard gain by Gesicki down by the goal line. Good. He's a caste cuck. (Harbaugh)

Sadly though it worked. They've tried it with a bunch of other hood rats and it hasn't. Lamar is one of the reasons you see turds like Anthony Richardson being drafted even though they can't play the position.

Yeah he’s an outlier, with a proven HC.

I hope Hubbard and Hendrickson get after him tonight. I’ll say they combine for 3 sacks

Defensive holding called on a failed 4th and goal. Bengals get a TD instead of turnover on downs. The refs have too much power and discretion.

Although I liked the result, the call was bogus. You are correct in your assessment.

I hope Hendrickson keeps Lamar in the pocket all game so that he's forced to throw instead of running the ball like he always does

Long arms feet of clay that LT they have will get Cool Joe killed
Yeah, the backup sumo Cody Ford is not very good. The right side backup is cracka Andrew Stueber. It would be fun to see him replace turnstile Ford to see what he could do over there.

That is the way to beat the Ravens. Easier said than done though.

Long arms on 350 immobile pounds of fat, while most good edge rushers are lean and fast. But the league will keep playing immobile sumo after immobile sumo at tackle.

Bengals 4th and 3 call was awful there. Low percentage play when it should have just be a quick out. Coaches who call this stuff are dumb.
