Might as well get this started. Likely not a lot of enthusiasm for this one due to neither team starting a White quarterback, along with Chiefs fatigue many seem to be feeling. Still, a lot of high quality players on both teams. The Team Demographics thread from the beginning of the season compiled by Freethinker ranked the Chiefs as one of the "Cream of the Crop" teams while the Eagles landed in the "Run of the Mill" listing.

13 of 44 ....29.5% easily better than most all of the NFL Drafts that have been in the "Teens %" recently!

Guess they will decide if Britian Covey goes on the active 53 man roster...

Exciting Whites get the edge #32 & #33! (Eagles O-Line unit the Best in the NFL)??
Hurts has got to do a better job getting AJ Brown involved ; he & TE Dallas Goedert are clicking!

Maybe Ivy League Justin Watson catches a TD or Rookie RBs Will Shipley and/or Carson "Thor" Steele has a nice Kickoff return!

The Super Bowl has had a seamy underbelly since it became a yearly must see event. In the past hijinks have been sideshows before the game with players arrested for bar fighting or solicitation of prostitutes. Who can forget team "leader" Eugene Robinson getting caught up in a prostitution sting.

Bengals RB Stanley Wilson was famously (infamously) all coked up the night before Super Bowl XXIII and missed the game, which Cincy lost to the 49ers. He claimed the majority of the team spent the night partying hard right along with him in a hotel suite but I don't know if that's ever been confirmed.

But this is the kind of crap that there should be zero tolerance for in Trump 2.0 land. TwentyTwo, the Eagles signed Covey to the active roster for the Super Bowl. HE has some amazing stats if he could just stay healthy.

 
Rosters not a bad mix for the present day NFL. Two white starters in the defensive backfield. On the same team? When did that last happen?

No high motor defensive linemen though either squad.

The chiefs have a short armed d-lineman in Karlaftis. I’m definitely rooting for the Eagles because of the “exciting whites” and to keep Mahomes from getting another SB.

Landon Dickerson went to the same HS as my son and Will Shipley from close by in NC as well. Plus "Exciting Whites." I guess I'm going with the Eagles. Hurts seems like a good guy as well.
I don't dislike the Chiefs, and nothing against Mahomes, who's mostly white to me, the local talent has me leaning Eagles. Maybe Dallas Goedert makes some big catches as well.
 
Put me down for the Eagles. Discipline on the pass rush, take away Travis Swift and run the ball then Eagles' win.

Let's go E-A-G-L-E-S! Why can't they just sing America The Beautiful and the Star Spangled Banner the way its supposed to be sung, not with a New Orleans flavor to it? Just sing the damn song!

They showed Trump and his family for just a few seconds and the crowd erupted in applause. Love it!

Wouldn't mind seeing that. Hurts cut down his INTs from 15 in '23 down to 5 in '24. He's a solid game manager who can make a play here and there. Which to me means they're not a come from behind team. But if Barkley can get in a rhythm with a couple big plays they can do Elway Broncos type of win.

Would like to see Goedert truck a cornerback or two.

On defense of course a pick or two from the two overachievers would be nice. Maybe a pick 6 or a game sealer?

I'd rather not see Mahomes be the QB who gets the threepeat and spark a bunch of GOAT talk. Which he is not. The NFL is too watered down (too many guys who can't tackle) nowadays.

It was terrible had to pause it on the dvr. Going to have to rewind now to see the trump reaction from the fans.

First obvious bad call for the Chiefs on what should have been a 4th down conversion by the Eagles. The refs/NFL aren't wasting any time fixing this one!
