2024 NFL Conference Championship Games

The "failed" 4th down conversion where Josh Allen clearly got over the line was the momentum-shifter. KC just walked down the field and scored without resistance. Truly a finesse team without the finesse.
I agree. Buffalo is inferior to KC in several obvious areas, from coaching to personnel.

It's a testament to Allen's talent that he managed to throw a catchable ball while falling backwards with defenders crashing in on him. That Kincaid drop is brutal to watch. Would've been a play for the ages had he caught it.

Shakir may be the worst number one receiver on a team in the league. Amari Cooper is a shell of what he was. Hollins made a couple big catches but is the very definition of journeyman.
You didn’t mention Coleman, who they traded back for instead of taking McConkey. Their GM needs to be relieved of his job.

Yes, a big second round disappointment, how surprising. Cole Beasley coming out of involuntary retirement would have been more effective as a receiver in this game. The Bills have drafted poorly for years which is why Josh Allen's window for winning a Super Bowl may be closing shut despite his greatness.

I'll never understand why NFL Pro's curl their arms up to make a catch coming at them. When you receive a football, you form your hands into a diamond and catch with your hands, not your arms.

Yes i learned the diamond form in my first year playing WR as a teenager in Ireland (of All places). I think the wrong technique phenomenon comes over time if a player gets comfortable with his success, maybe relying on athleticism too much. Maybe bad coaching at the youth Level.

Do you think Kincaid used poor form there on that drop?

I only saw one replay, but the ball hit him in his arms. He obviously didn't try catch it with his hands, but he had a better view of the ball coming at him. Maybe he thought ball would drop into his arms as we see many players do and sometimes it works out and they catch it, maybe he was wanting the ball to drop in his hands and his vision was partially blocked. I don't know, but the ball hit him in his arms making it more difficult IMO to secure it. Try catching a football in the folds of your arms sometime versus your hands. See which is the better technique.
The gloves they use these days are so sticky that the ball sticks to your hands, supposedly.

Buffalo not having a "tush push" despite having such a strong QB and there was a large number of plays calling for an effective one, poor play calling in general, Kincaid not making the catch after Allen's incredible throw on fourth down when three Chiefs were bearing down on him, an often lousy defense that allowed KC receivers to roam free, having a poor set of WRs and lesser personnel overall, all were factors besides the controversial calls.

DWFs hate dynasties. The Patriots were widely hated and now the Chiefs are, one had a White QB the other has a light skinned Black one. The NFL has played a huge and devastating role in the Permanent Cultural Revolution and the anti-White agenda since the late 1960s, and that's my interest. Anything that harms the reputation of the league is a good thing. If DWFs lose "faith" in their secular religion due to perceived biased refereeing then many more may become open to seeing that the league is also racially biased. A much tougher nut to crack but we've opened some eyes already with many more to go.

Dungy got fired and replaced by Gruden for less so I am surprised no one has brought that up when it comes to the Bills coaching staff. Any possibility now that woke is taking some shelling that Gruden could be rehabbed enough to get hired by the Bills.

I’d like to see Gruden get another chance. I’ve a feeling he would go scorched earth against the league powers. Maybe see an influx of white talent.

He seemed to just miss the ball, granted he was in an awkward angle but as you say that is how you are taught in pee wee ball.

I always felt the Bills needed Allen to play like superman to win this game but the Chiefs scouted the tapes well and knew the holes he ran in on qb option plays. Also during his short yardages sneaks the Bills seemed to execute the plays similar to pre tush push era plays and Allen was bottled up twice but I felt he probably made the 2nd one.

The NFL needs to get laser eyes and a chip in the ball so that the type of ambiguous situations don't occur in big games like this. This is a multiple billion dollar a year league and the have the technology of a semi pro league...

PS the loss of their starting cornerback due to a concussion was also huge as his backup was repeatedly beaten by Chiefs receivers I recall even Bishop being forced to cover a receiver on a play and I didn't see a cornerback blitz.
