2024 New York Jets

Metaphorically speaking if you have one bullet and in front of you are two enemies one an explicitly vocal enemy the other the traitor, the traitor gets the bullet. Performative White Liberalism is the treason performed by the Lib/Con fraudsters.

Aaron Glenn seems competent, at least he seemed a good fit with Dan Campbell, intense and demanding. He deserves a shot at being a head coach as much if not more than the White Caste Clowns who are regurgitated around the league until they finally fail so decisively that they run out of chances. Can Glenn be any worse than Rex Ryan, Adam Gase, and Robert Saleh? The only Jets head coach of note in recent years was Eric Mangini and he ran out of chances because he wasn't a Caste Clown.
with all due respect, Rex Ryan got them to 2 AFC title games while Gase and Saleh were winning around 25-30% of their games. What Ryan accomplished was a miracle considering the Jets history.

The Jets went 46-50 under Ryan; it was after Ryan that the team became wretched again. Before and during Ryan they were an average, mediocre team -- 23-25 under Mangini, 39-41 under Herm Edwards, and 9-7 under Al Groh. Before Groh was Bill Parcells who led them to a 29-19 record. Ryan got the Jets to the playoffs a couple of times but the overall result was in line with the team's long run of mediocrity and worse.

The foot-sniffing weirdo Rex Ryan was one of the worst Caste Clown coaches of recent vintage, though he hasn't been as bad since he became a commentator. Would you really want Rex Ryan coaching the Raiders since you're from Vegas? I would rather see Aaron Glenn given an opportunity to see if he's a capable coach and whether or not he's fair-minded when it comes to White players. Certainly the defensive make-up of the Lions the past few years indicates he might be. Rex Ryan is an obnoxious pig with a huge ego who crapped on White players time and again. Eric Mangini, who had the same mediocre record with the Jets but was turning around the Browns before being Caste aside by another pig, Mike Holmgren, I will always defend as fair-minded toward White players. Ryan I will never defend.

Aaron Glenn ran more-or-less the whitest defense in the NFL over the past two years. Despite MANY injuries to their white defenders, the Lions seemed to keep finding (and playing) more of them. Aidan Hutchinson, Pat O'Connor, Alex Anzalone, Jack Campbell, Malcolm Rodriguez, Ben Niemann, and Trevor Nowaske all saw the field at some point, and John Cominsky missed the whole season with a torn MCL. There weren't many teams that rostered 7-8 different whites on defense this season.

The coordinator obviously wasn't making all those personnel decisions. I'm mildly interested to see whether Glenn's Jets team looks anything similar to his Detroit unit.

This could all be moot, as Woody Johnson's teenage sons make the final roster decisions based on which players they like using in Madden.

I agree that Glenn deserves a HC job. No issues there. I just don’t think he’ll be a good fit for the Jets. The common opinion I’ve gotten from a few Jets fan friends and family (yes, unfortunately I have some) is that they didn’t want another first time HC. Especially not one coming from the defensive side. It’s a huge gamble, especially considering they will be most likely developing a young QB this coming year or next. Guess we’ll see what they do there, but I don’t expect the Jets to improve anytime soon.
