By now I’m assuming most at Caste Football know The Bison of North Dakota State! 17 Championships and counting. A changing of guard as 1st yr HC Tim Polasek takes over. Long time NDSU assistant gets his shot at running things. Craig Bohl left 9 years ago for Wyoming and is now retired. Last year’s HC chose to go to USC. Still Bison are looking for another Championship in 2024.

Back for a 4th year as a starter is QB Cam Miller. 31-9 as a starter. Not talked about nearly enough! I’d say good chance NDSU has another QB in the pros, but he won’t get the Trey Lance treatment. Granted he’s average sized (6’1 212) but a winner.

Defensively I’m really bummed to hear Star Safety Cole Wisniewski(WI)is going to be out most of this year with a foot injury. Huge at 6’4 218 and he had 8 INTs last season! In his place another lanky Safety in Jr. Ryan Jones(6’3 205) should see plenty of reps. Also keep an eye on another Wisconsinite in Safety Sam Jung(5’11 192). Not quite the size of the other 2 mentioned but a baller.

Snow Plow and Snow Patrol for NDSU!

Keep an eye on DT Eli Mostaert and Iowa State transfer Hunter Zenzen.

They look to start 17 overachievers against Slime Time’s Black Buffaloes.

Nice write-up. It's too bad Wisniewski and Brozio are both injured. Let's hope NDSU pulls off the upset in week 1!

Cam Miller is a great dual threat qb, can certainly make a name for himself with a strong game vs Colorado.

Appreciate it sir and agreed on the injuries.. Pretty excited for the game Thursday against Colorado though! NDSU enters as 9.5 point underdogs. I think they will give CU all they can handle.

Nice write up Bucky! You even have Heights & Weights listed too!

Great minds think alike. Over the past few years have considered what a Team thread for North Dakota State OR South Dakota State would look like. These teams have built some respect nation wide!

Same here! Stoked for Thursday nights game! Colorado is going to have to earn this Win vs the FCS Powerhouse!
.....But really bummed DB Cole Wisniewski the the Bison best player on Defense. Had not FCS DB's on the 2024 thread ; but should have.

North Dakota State has a 9 - 4 Record vs FBS teams all time.

Nice write up! A 9 out of 11 White defense is definitely worth watching. Won’t see that in the FBS sadly.

huge game for the DWFs to witness! IF NDSU can hang in and go toe to toe with the upsiders from slimetime then people may start to question why are these guys not in the FBS and if they win then even better. They are only a 10 pt dog so winning is fathomable

Big game tomorrow night as the 10 point dogs NDSU Bison battle Colorado on ESPN. This would be a huge win for our guys.

NDSU hasn’t lost a game since the opener against Colorado. 7-1 record.

Cam Miller keeps up his stellar season. He’s throwing 76%, 1600 yards and an outstanding 14-0 TD to INT ratio.

Kopp is leading the team with 39 tackles and INTs with 2.

DT Eli Mostaert has 4 sacks! I’d like to see him get a shot in NFL. But at 6’3 290 he’d be considered undersized amongst modern fatass DL.

No 1st round hype for Cam Miller though! Despite a multi year starter with established success. Going to start my annual social media harrassment of the Senior Bowl and Shrine Bowl in the next few weeks so thanks for bringing Mostaert to my attention!

Like to see both those guys drafted! Miller in the 2-4rd range at least!
