He has 137 and 3 INTs through 10 games.Buffalo LB Shaun Dolac with 17 total tackles and an interception last night.
Thanks Rocky B! Nice to get a new RB name in the Stat line for the MACNew lunchpail running back. EMU’s Joey Mattard.
Sophomore. 6’ 182
First carry of his career. Two yards.
It’s not garbage time, maybe someone is hurt, but it’s always good to see new blood.....
Edit....He’s had 15 carries this year..
If one of you other guys mentioned him, my bad.
As I edit, he just ripped a nice nine yard run.....
Thanks for posting this!!He has 137 and 3 INTs through 10 games.
BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo linebacker Shaun Dolac has been named a semifinalist for the Burlsworth Trophy, given annually to the most outstanding football player in American who began his career as a walk-on and has shown outstanding performance on the field. Dolac is one of 10 semifinalists selected
Baylor | Josh Cameron | WR | RS-JR |
Buffalo | Shaun Dolac | LB | RS-SR |
Indiana | James Carpenter | DL | RS-SR |
Iowa | Kaden Wetjen | WR/KR/PR | SR |
Oregon | Bryce Boettcher | LB | SR |
South Florida | Sean Atkins | WR | SR |
Tennessee | Will Brooks | S | RS-SR |
Texas | Michael Taaffe | DB | RS-JR |
UCLA | Carson Schwesinger | LB | RS-JR |
UNLV | Jackson Woodard | LB | SR |
Agreed, this is some of the most powerful evidence for anti-white recruiting bias I've seen on CF.Thanks for posting this!!
It seems like the sponsors of the Burlsworth Trophy should post here! Check out their list of ten semi-finalists:
Baylor Josh Cameron WR RS-JR Buffalo Shaun Dolac LB RS-SR Indiana James Carpenter DL RS-SR Iowa Kaden Wetjen WR/KR/PR SR Oregon Bryce Boettcher LB SR South Florida Sean Atkins WR SR Tennessee Will Brooks S RS-SR Texas Michael Taaffe DB RS-JR UCLA Carson Schwesinger LB RS-JR UNLV Jackson Woodard LB SR
That is a statistically-incredible nine out of 10 white players who are out-performing their non-existent evaluation out of high school for power conference college teams. No o-linemen, quarterbacks, tight ends, or kickers/punters here, which are where white standouts still aren't completely shunned as prospects.
The full list of 78 nominees has only four o-linemen and zero quarterbacks. The OL players can't really rack up stats past independent award nominations, and you can only ever play one quarterback per team.
There are more mitigating factors (on both sides of the racial favor) worth considering. Maybe this post shouldn't be buried here, or it could be a jumping-off point for another thread dedicated to quantifying successful (*football) walk-ons.
(*it happens in basketball, soccer, and baseball, too)

UTSA QB Owen McCown had a nice game 379 yards passing 2 TD + 88 yards rushing !
Porter is averaging 8 yards per carry on the season. He’s listed as a junior so I wonder if he will get any interest from a big program to transfer up? If not he’ll need a monster senior year to get on NFL radars but appears talented enough.Porter spent 3 years at Kansas State on special teams before he transfer to North Texas. This 40 time was 4 years ago. He looks much faster than 4.6.

Shadeur Sanders continues to affirm my view that he is not only not worthy of a #1 overall pick but may not even be a 1st round talent. For a guy who loves holding onto the ball and extending plays, he has very heavy feet and fails to outmaneuver pass rushers. Colorado has scored on a punt return and a free play 50/50 ball, otherwise done nothing and Shadeur continues to be on pace to lead the nation in sacks. This is not an anti-black QB post, this guy is regularly being mocked at 1st overall.
Utah has no talent at WR and is on their 3rd QB, otherwise Colorado would be in trouble.
