Since 2007 Clemson has started 5, 5, 5, 2, 4, 3, 5, 5, 3, 6 ,6, 8, 7, 9, 6, and 7 white athletes. In 2024 they look to improve for the third year in a row to 8! We're really going to miss Wil Shipley. Hopefully he continues his success in the NFL. Despite losing Shipley at RB, Clemson has RS JR Troy Stellato moving into the starting WR-X slot. With Cade Klubnik starting at QB and NFL prospect Jake Briningstool starting at TE. So, Clemson will start 6 white players on offense including 3 OL.
On defense Clemson will add 1, RDE Cade Denhoff RS JR and once again SLB Wade Woodaz. However, big time freshman recruit Sammy Brown is getting reps at the number 1 MLB spot. I would expect to see him get plenty of opportunities to play if not take over the starting position midway through the season. He is getting rave reviews for his intelligence, speed and strength.
Worth mentioning: Once again there are 3 white WR's competing for the same position. Stellato, Cole Turner, and SO Ronan Hanafin.
Hanafin is also listed as the number 2 KR on special teams. Hanafin a big WR target at 6'3 210, might be someone to look out for.

Offense-
QB-Cade Klubnik-JR
WR-Troy Stellato-RS-JR
TE-Jake Briningstool-SR
LG-Collin Sadler-RS-SO
RG-Walker Parks-GR
RT-Blake Miller-JR
Number 2 QB Chrstopher Vizzina RS-FR could push Klubnik if he doesn't play well.
Look for WR Cole Turner to get ample playing time.

Defense-
RDE-Cade Denhoff-RS-JR
SLB-Wade Woodaz-JR
Freshman Sammy Brown is listed as the number 2 MLB. I look for Brown to get plenty of playing time if he continues to impress.
...and in the future, you could see Denhoff, Woodaz, Brown all starting next season if not late this season.
FS- Tyler Venables could see some action as well.
KR-Ronan Hanafin listed second on the depth chart.

Certainly one of the teams to root for in the ACC. Klubnik needs to take a huge step this year, he improved last season but was still inconsistent. Let's hope Sammy Brown sees the field early for the Tigers.

About as Good as you can hope for in a Southern team. Glad Stellato is finally starting, Shadowlight was high on him coming out of HS. Also pumped about Sammy Brown! Dudes a stud, should be a starter by mid year.

Ronan hanafin, if black and from the south, would’ve been a 5*. 6’3 runs a 4.4 and also a stud lacrosse player in hs. If dabo is traveling up to massachusetts to recruit someone then the kid clearly has big time talent.

In reviewing the Clemson depth chart to see if Freshman Sammy Brown had move up from second team LB, he didn't. Still second team, I was disappointed to see that WR Troy Stellato has move down to the second team. Also, LT Colin Sadler and promising DE Cade Denhoff has been demoted to second team. That would take the probable white starters down to 5 from 8! However, C Ryan Linthicum has moved to the first team giving Clemson 6 white starters. Hopefully there's still time for these players to get back to the first team. Really wanted to see Stellato start. I didn't see any news about injuries to these players.
BTW, Clemson native QB Trent Pearman has moved ahead of highly recruited QB Christopher Vizzina for the second team position.

Clemson loses one of their 2025 Class commitments, QB Blake Hebert. The No. 6 dual-threat in the 2025 class announced his decommitment from Clemson on Monday and gave his pledge to Notre Dame.
Not sure who if any other QB is on their radar. No doubt a blow to the program as there's talk that Klubnik may announce for the draft after the season he's having.
RS FR Christopher Vizzina is number 2 on the depth chart. Vizzina has shown he could be ready when he's been able to play. He's 12/19, 125 yards passing and 9/38 rushing; 118 RTG.
