Since 2010, the Broncos have started 11, 15, 14, 11, 11, 11, 10, 9, 6, 6, 7 , 7, 9 and 10 whites. Around 9-11 again depending on personnel and a position battle. I actually assumed that super hyped prospect turn bust Malachi Nelson had already been gifted the starting position due to the offseason hype around him but apparently a QB battle still remains. I am inclined to thing Nelson starts Day 1, but I wouldn't be shocked if Maddux Madsen gets starts at some point. LT Kage Casey is a beast and returning WR Austin Bolt should be a deep threat.

Offense -
QB - Maddux Madsen * in a battle for position
FB - Tyler Crowe
WR - Austin Bolt
TE - Matt Lauter
LT - Kage Casey
LG - Ben Dooley
OC - Mason Randolph
RG - Roger Carreon
RT - Hall Schmidt

Defense -
LB - Marco Notarainni
SS - Alexander Teubner

Notable back ups include WR Chase Penry, TE Austin Terry, OC Nathan Cardona, OG Jake Steele, RT Kyle Cox, DE Tyler Wegis, DT Michael Callahan, LBs Jake Ripp and Chase Martin, SS Milo Lopez and FS Bryce Cleave.

it's pretty simple with Boise, start 14 or more whites and they will have a shot at the CFB playoff. I miss the Kellen Moore, Ryan Dinwiddie and Jared Zabransky years, some of the best offensive football i have ever seen at that level.

I still have vivid memories of the bowl game between Boise State and Louisville back in 2004. It was one of the best games I had ever watched and spurred my interest in college football. Louisville's dual threat QB Stefan Lefors was brilliant but I remember taking a lot of interest in Boise State around that time and was a fan of the Broncos. Boise St was long a fan favorite here at CF up until probably 7-8 years ago. It's a shame how Bryan Harsin destroyed the program.

great game, would have been a good matchup as a CFB playoff opening round game.

Agreed. It seemed that there was a lot more parity in college football as well generally speaking. The SEC was not the hype job BSPN has made it in the past 15 or so years. It was also a time when pro style, spread, run heavy, Pistol, option offenses etc. could all exist whereas now everything is essentially rpo spread across the board.
