Doncic was traded because he was hurt and “didn’t play enough defense.” Meanwhile, Davis - the guy Barkley and Shaq kept making fun of because he took a wheelchair off the court when he was lined in the eye - is once again riding the line in street clothes.

I hope Luka’s average production is simply because he is rusty and not preview of what’s to come sharing a court with James…

Well. The game was essentially a blowout. Lakers were up 25 at the half. However, Luka did shoot a not too good 5-14 and 1-7 from 3 in 24 minutes. Yeah, probably a little rusty, first game in LA, etc. I don't see him backing down from James.
 
The Lakers keep getting whiter. Not since the 1960's has there been a Lakers Team with so many white guys. Now they have
Doncic, Reaves, Knecht, and Len. :)

I hate to keep blaming boomers but their loser mentality about blacks being “athletically superior” seeped into their children. Thankfully gen x did not raise their kids that way and millennials don’t seem to either. I have two uncles who are great, big time maga, want mass deportations, etc but whenever we talk sports they go on and on about how blacks are such amazing athletes. It’s nauseating. This young generation of white athletes does not have that anchor around their neck about black athletes being innately better nearly as much. And we are seeing when they are, in the words of joe biden, “unchained”!
 
Portland's Donavan Clingan had arguably his best game as a pro last night against the Nuggets. 17 points and 20 rebounds. He has had some minor injuries, so maybe he's getting past those.

I wish the Lakers would have tried to get Kessler from Utah. They are saying they are weak defensively in the middle. He would fill that need nicely. He had 6 blocks last night and as Carolina Speed pointed out 16 points.

Walker Kessler is the 2nd best defensive center in the NBA in blocked shots. He is just starting to show his potential. Kessler will only get better from here. My hope is for Kessler to stay in Utah with Markannen. Then for the Jazz to win the draft lottery and get Cooper Flagg to join those guys. Then go and sign Mac McClung and you have a playoff contender from day one.
 
Just a few quick notes. The Utah Jazz have been trying different lineups alot this season as they are in rebuilding mode. Hoping they can land Cooper Flagg if they get the number 1 pick in the NBA Draft. They are still fun to watch though. they started 3 white guys tonight. They always start Lauri Markannen along with Walker Kessler. Tonight they also started Kyle Flipkowski who had a double/double with 20 points while Markannen also scored 20 points. Svi Mykhhailuk had 7 points with Mitch Potter off the bench.

In the Heat vs the Mavs Game Tyler Herro went off for 40 points!

22 points while pulling down 28 rebounds! This guy is amazing to watch and he outworks most players in the league.

To go one step further, 3 of the 4 Top Rebounders in the NBA are white.

The Sacramento Kings landed 2 more white guys for their team through trades. They have added Jake LaRavia and Jonas Valanciunas.
