2024-'25 NBA Season

To my knowledge, the Bulls are the first NBA team since the Timberwolves, with a young Kevin Love, to consistently start 4 White athletes. After the deadline there was a gelling period to get through, but in the month of March the Bulls are 9-4! And they are not just beating up on bums. They have wins over Miami, Indianapolis, Orlando, Denver, Sacramento and the LA Lakers twice. All playoff teams.

The White friendly experiment is working.

PS - Zach Collins has been a positive addition too, as the top big man off the bench. So the rotation is 5/8 or 5/9 White, depending on how deep they go.

This Bulls Team also reminds me of the Washington Bullets(Now the Wizards) back with Tom Gugliota, Rex Champan and many others. They also started a majority white lineup.

The Bulls are in a tight game with the Mavs tonight. Matas Buzelis has 20 points at the moment. This kid has a bright future!

Reed Sheppard had 15 points in 9 minutes tonight in a blowout win over Utah.

This month, in 17.5 minutes per game, he is averaging 9.3 points, 2.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.5 steals and is shooting 41.7% from 3.

Pelle Larsson of the MIami Heat has gotten a few starts lately. He has scored 15 & 16 points in his last 2 games. Great for the rookies
confidence going forward!

TY Snow Plow. I didn't realize he was back from injury. He scored 15 points in 9 minutes!

Very good video! Going into today, Jokic leads the NBA with 31 triple doubles this season. The next highest guy has 10. There is really no one even close to him right now. SGA is a fine player but he’s mostly a scorer. He’s not filling the stat sheet every night like Nikola.

PS - 5 of the top 10 list for most triple doubles this season are White athletes. A very large over representation….

Joker in Elite Company ....26 - 13 - 12 last night!
Luka hit for 39 ;
Austin Undrafted Farm Boy Reaves 23....

quote:

Reaves is used to proving himself -- and breaking down stereotypes.

"You know, as a white guy in the NBA, I sometimes look at white players and I'm like, 'They're not very good,'" Reaves told ESPN. "So, it's a stigma that I think is real."

Redick, who played 15 years in the league, understands. "I think every guy in our shoes has experienced some level of this where you're going to be tested," Redick told ESPN. "And truthfully, no matter how many times you pass that test, you're going to be tested again."

LeSean Mccoy, who is currently vying for the coveted title of most racist sports personality on TV, says the quiet part out loud - the "face of the NBA" must be a black American, "swaggy", and relatable to the kids in "the hood". He disqualified Luka because the kids in the hood can't relate to him, as they "move quicker than him" - of course what he really means is that Luka is white. I wonder if Shady realizes that "the hood" generates next to no revenue for the league, which is wholly reliant on its white fanbase to exist.

The overwhelmingly black and Jewish NBA media is desperate to anoint the next black superstar, since MJ and Lebron, along with a slew of hip hop artists, ushered in an era of black worship in the white suburbs. Anthony Edwards' recent playoff exit exposes his clear limitations as a good-but-not-great undersized guard with hops.

What really interests me is Cooper Flagg's potential to become the next big superstar - if you think the Caitlin Clark backlash has been bad, imagine what would happen if yet another white boy - an American no less - started to take over the house that MJ built.

I think Luka Dončić has been the most impactful player in recent years to change public perception of the NBA. While there have been lots of great White players at any point in the league, Luka is not only phenomenal on the court, but immensely popular and recognisable, as shown by that article. It's great that it's now publicly accepted that a White player can be the best one in the NBA overall, and that the countless doubt, mocking and overt racism against him has been hypocritical. Now, that doesn't mean that the assaults have relented. Besides the Mavs blindsiding him with the trade off, as if he didn't single-handedly raise Dallas from nothing to finalists, the new narrative has been doubled down on: the "unathletic" narrative we know all too well. It's pretty disheartening seeing fools repeat rumours of his alleged poor conditioning, while he adjusted from the terrible trade to play an overall good season, showing both versatility and that he hasn't lost any skills, despite a few injuries. I think the next season, especially if he signs a contract extension to stay with Lakers long term, will see Luka in great form.
Here is a clip that sickened me recently, from the fool Jay Williams at ESPN:

Again they talk about Doncic and his weight. Why didn't they do this to Charles Barkely? Why do they never talk amour James Harden and many other players way over weight. Doncic does not look like a 40 year old. It's just more anti white hate.

To be fair. Barkley's nickname was "The Round Mound of Rebound" because he was short by power forward standards 6'4 and fat at 300+lbs.
WL, I sense you are younger than me I' in my very late 50's. Almost 60. I believe you're about 10-20 years younger than me, so you may not remember that's what Barkley was often called.

My point was that weight isn't an issue with hall of fame guys like Barkley, Harden and Doncic. If you can play you can play. Not everyone has to have a sixpack. Appreciate your comments. Hope your doing good my friend.

I love Luka and hope he wins a few championships but he is overweight and deserves to be fat shamed. The man is paid millions of dollars to play basketball for a living so he needs to be in shape. If you look at some of this rookie tapes, he was much more athletic dunking multiple times per game.

The thing about Luka that pisses me off is losing weight and getting into better shape does nothing but make him better.

It’s like he’s choosing to play at 90% his full potential instead of 100% because he’s lazy. And that 10% could be the difference between being a top 5 player and the unanimous best player in the league.

Looking back I remember players being fat shamed back in the day. The one that comes to mind is Vin Baker when he joined Seattle in the late 90’s. If I remember correctly he had a pretty good first season with the Sonics but then his weight ballooned out of control and he ended up going downhill pretty quick. It’s probably easier to get away with being a little overweight in other sports because you aren’t running around in a tank top. You get exposed pretty fast in basketball if you start to get tubby.

I think Luka will get in better shape in the off-season, in fact he already looked more fit while visiting a Real Madrid game last week, and from some of the photo's he's posted. I see no reason why he wouldn't try, and achieve, being in great shape for the beginning of the 2025-26 season, especially with the apparent pressure from JJ Redick and the negative press/rumours. We'll see!
