It's disgusting that the Magic signed McClung to a 2 way contract and he either stays in the NBA G League or is stuck on the bench
in the few games he is with the NBA Orlando Magic. No one has gone through what this kid has had to do. Complete B.S.

Lol, good Embiid hate video. I'd actually say it's 50/50 that the youtube creator (with a "mere" 54k subscriptions) is simply a wanna-be talking head, dream job at one of the popular networks, and he'd have no quandaries going either way on any star player for conversation, which is now the majority of the 24/7 sports journalism cycle.

Funny to note that the Sixers (2-12), Pelicans (4-12), and Nets (6-9) are all looking bad-to-worse after coming in as the only three teams in the league with ZERO non-black players on their rosters. I've developed a conspiratorial attitude that the league's crappier teams would sign and feature white fringe players, just to see what they had. This in turn would lead to those white players on crappy teams getting beaten by default. I never attempted to quantify that, so it's possible that my perception has been overblown. And to be fair, the white-friendly Utah Jazz and Toronto Raptors are pretty bad so far this season.

The NBA is becoming so rich in honkey talent it's easy to overlook some guys. Franz Wagner is quietly ascending to all-star status, putting up 37 against Knecht (17 points) and the Lakers, including the game winner. His brother Moritz also chipped in 19 off the bench. Lakers decide to give the final shot to AD who promptly airballs it.

It's a shame Orlando refuses to give Mac McClung an opportunity, even off the bench, because they'd be one of the most palatable teams in the league.

Reddick benched Knecht for Hachimora and they got there asses kicked. He only played 19 minutes despite averaging nearly 24 points and shooting 58% from the field as a starter. If you look on twitter fans are pissed.

I'm glad after constant years of silence from fans that some are finally speaking up. We need alot more of this. Dalton Knecht is a
borderline all star talent in only his rookie year. Let's hope he is put back into the starting 5 where he belongs!

Does Reddick even run the team or is he just a puppet for the biggest diva in NBA history, LeBum. It does raise the question if it was really Reddick who benched him or if he's just taking the heat for Lebron's decision.

Yeah that’s interesting. Just last week Lebron was singing Daltons praises. Who knows.

The guy who wrote this article says that Knechts performances since his benching has been “underwhelming”. Well I wonder why you jackass? Could it be that his minutes have been cut in half? These press guys are the most disingenuous sob’s on the planet.

You can never take anything lebum says for serious. He is a racist and of course he will say something nice about a white player from time to time but we know how he feels deep down inside. That being said I thin his handlers have told him to cut down his political crap because it will affect his wealth. I haven’t heard him say” they’re killing us” or any of the fear mongering he is know for.

Great news on Knecht. I think the pressure from the fans to start Dalton was too much for for Lebron/Reddick. What an idiotic move to to bench a guy who is playing on a allstar level and give him 19 minutes a game. Only could happen to a white guy. I don’t know maybe it does happen to black guys, but I don’t pay any attention to them. I just don’t think it does. Anyways, thanks for the stats Carolina speed.

The Chicago Bulls are fun to watch again. The Bulls beat the Nets tonight 128-102! Josh Giddey led the way with a triple double scoring
20 points, 11 assists and 13 rebounds.

N. Vucevic had 21 points and 10 rebounds. Even the rookie M. Buzelis scored a career high 20 points, 5 boards, 1 assist and 2 Blocks!

Boston's Pritchard 25 points off the bench.
Hero 19 against Boston. Shot 2-10 from 3. off night for Hero.
Knecht only 6 for the Lakers going 3-8. He's only shooting 34% over the last 3 games. He needs to get out of this minor slump. As we know he's on a short leash!

Yeah, he torched the Lakers! What the heck has happened to Knecht?? Has only scored 14 points in his last 3 games!! He has started all three games.
It looks like the Lakers are screwing him on minutes again. He only played 23 against the Heat. Hard to get into any type of rhythm that few of minutes. When he was on his hot streak, he was playing 30+ a game and taking a lot more shots.

Knecht a little better last night in a loss to the Lakers. 6-11/2-6, and 14 points in 28 minutes/3rbds./2 ass. He should be scoring over 20 a night. Reaves has missed several games with an injury.
Wagner 30
Sabonis 22/16
Huerter 16 off the bench. he began the year as a starter?
Kessler 13/17
Clingan still out for the Trailblazers.
NBA like the NFL. Many of our guys down with injuries.

The NBA may soon be as irrelevant as the WNBA, which has been propped up from the beginning by Corporate America and ESPN. A $77 billion rights deal with far-left Disney and NBC illustrates how the system has become a circle jerk of "too big to fail" entities trying to keep the NBA and other pillars of the Empire of Lies going. . . and going. (Watch the X feed below, it's quite entertaining):

Ratings: New NBA Tournament Is A Failure

The NBA had hoped to boost its sluggish regular season with a new in-season tournament called the NBA Cup. The idea was to incentivize players to take regular season games more seriously and, in return, increase interest among television viewers.

That hasn't happened. This season, viewership for the NBA Cup is down double digits (10%) from last year's inaugural season. The tournament is averaging 1.5 million viewers on TNT and just 1.16 million viewers on ESPN. To date, the entire NBA regular season on ESPN is down 28% year over year. The league was already coming off a disappointing season in which its playoff viewership decreased by over 12%.

But, but, but, the league just signed a $77 billion rights deal with Disney, NBC, and Amazon. No, the NBA is not at risk of closing shop. That said, the league's popularity has diminished greatly. Viewership for the entire NBA is down around 48% since 2012.

The NBA pulled off quite the coup, getting three broadcast partners to overpay for a product in obvious decline.

What's more, there is not just one easily fixable issue leading to the NBA's drop in interest. The list of factors is lengthy. The league is too political, the regular season doesn't matter, players don't take games seriously, small market teams struggle to compete, star power is lacking, and games feel more like 3-point shooting contests than actual basketball games.

As OutKick's Joe Kinsey opined, "The NBA is unwatchable garbage." He provided the following evidence:

When concussion mania + anthem kneeling was at its apex, there was widespread belief that the NFL was dying and the NBA was ascending to take its place as America's favorite sports product. How times have changed. There was a brief time where it looked like that could eventually happen, but the opposite shift has been occurring for close to a decade. Much like baseball, analytics have destroyed the on-field (court) product. Teams have realized that home runs and the 3 ball are generally preferable to playing a style that requires more skill and talent, and the end result is a one dimensional approach to the game that isn't particularly fun to watch. One thing the NFL has managed to do over the years is maintain a competitive balance in the sport via rule and officiating changes, so you actually see a diversity of playstyles in a way that no longer exists in the NBA (Jokic being an exception).
