Wyoming has started 15, 17, 14, 16, 15, 13, 14, 12, 11, 13, 11, 15, 9, 10, 8, 8, 10 and 11 whites. 14 this year and once again a ton of depth!! This should make Wyoming one of, if not the, whitest teams in the nation this year.

GREAT team with two starting white WRs, 4/5 and a ton of skill position depth. 5/5 of the back up OL is white, with 4/5 being underclassmen.

The starting punt returner is also one of our guys, the shifty Caleb Cooley. His back up, and the starting kick returner, is starter Wyatt Wieland. Our guys will be all over the field.

On defense, we have two white DBs and two white DTs. Only one linebacker but a ton of depth. The whole second team DL and LBs are our guys!! Also the back up FS and SS are white.

Overall 17 of the 22 back ups are white! So 32/44 of the OFFICIAL two deep.

Offense -
QB - Andrew Peasley
FB - Caleb Driskill
WR - Ryan Marquez
WR - Wyatt Wieland
TE - Treyton Welch
LT - Frank Crum
LG - Wes King
RG - Jack Walsh
RT - Caden Barnett

Defense -
DT - Jordan Bertagnole
NT - Cole Godbout
LB - Easton Gibbs
NB - Wrook Brown
FS - Wyett Ekeler

Key back ups include QB Evan Svoboda, WRs Will Pelissier, Caleb Cooley, and Gunner Gentry, TE John Michael Gyllenborg, LT Forrest Scheel, LG Ethan Drewes, C Luke Sandy, RG Rex Johnson, RT JJ Uphold, DEs Tyce Westland and Braden Siders, DT Ben Florentine, NT Gavin Meyer, LBs Cole DeMaezo and Connor Shay, SS Andrew Johnson, and FS Buck Coors.

A white nickel back! He must have that hip swivel! Wyoming is always a good team and looks like this year they will continue that trend

Although listed at 3rd on the depth chart, LB turned RB Sam Scott was the team's leading rusher (outside of the QB) and also had the highest YPC against Texas Tech. I believe he also had the most receptions among RBs. Expect to see him move into a co-starter role going forward.

Pleasant surprise!

Credit to Wyoming for coming back to defeat Texas Tech. With Peasley firmly entrenched as the starter and the emergence of Sam Scott the Cowboys are a team we should all have a vested interested in rooting for in the Mountain West.

Sam Scott 18 Carries for 114 and a TD. That’s 6.3ypc! Over 2 games.

Let’s hope Wyoming keeps feeding him, they’ll need him against Texas in Week 3. I’d like to see him get 18 totes against Texas!
