Since 2006 Notre Dame has started 11, 11, 10, 10, 11, 11, 9, 8, 6, 8, 8, 5, 9, 9, 9 and 9. In 2023 they remain steady at 9 White starters.


QB Sam Hartman transferring over from Wake Forest is one of the bigger storylines in college football. He was a prolific passer at Wake Forest and is probably the best QB the Irish have had since Brady Quinn. LT Joe Alt is a probable top 15 pick in 2024 as well - he's the best offensive tackle in the country. The defense returns both Bertrand and Kiser at LB - a very good tandem.

Players to look out for are QB Steven Angeli, WR Matt Salerno, TE Davis Sherwood, DT Donovan Hinish, DE Josh Burnham, LB Drayk Bowen,

One of the most digestible of the playoff contenders. Would like to see another white wr or two but at least on defense they start 3 of our guys plus a couple more on the two deep. I’m curious to see how Freeman will continue his approach to recruiting. He played under Tressel and always speaks very highly of him, and if I remember correctly Tressel always seemed to have good white lb’s and a dl with at least one try hard guy on it
