From 2005-2012 Houston started 9, 9, 9, 8, 6, 4, 5 and 4 Whites. No 2013 write-up, From 2014-2018 Houston started 3, 4, 2, 2, 1 and 3 whites. 4 white starters in 2020 and 2021, 3 last year.

The University of Houston is a "diverse" institution, with white students the third largest group at 21%. Thus, I'm never too surprised with this team's outlook.
With Clayton Tune gone, the top QBs are quota transfers. True freshman Caleb McMickle looks to start off as third string.

The only thing making this team interesting are the WRs. USC transfer Joseph Manjack IV is a starter. Back up Peyton Sawyer is buried on the depth chart but is the starting KR/PR. The 2024 class also has a commit in Heath McRee, a 10.4 speedster who can blow the top off the defense. The TE position at least features a ton of our guys.

Back up DB Noah Guzman, a white hispanic looks like the lone defensive player to get meaningful snaps.

Offense -
WR - Joseph Manjak IV
TE - Matt Byrnes
OL - Max Banes *position battle
OC - Jack Freeman

Defense -
None

Back ups include WR Peyton Sawyer, TEs Logan Compton and Mike O'Laughlin, OL Peyton Dunn and FS Noah Guzman.

Weird transfer destination choice by Manjak; hope the magical upsiders flick their wrists in his direction this season.

He ****** up choosing USC to begin with. Wisconsin was in his top 3 would have fit nice with new scheme. He’s a Houston guy though so back with his homies.

Well you know, they've been recruiting in Texas almost exclusively, but they have one of those color charts. If the prospect is not dark enough per the chart, they aren't recruited.
