At least some of the other guys are shining. I do think the punishment on Steele is a little severe but he does have to take care of the ball.

I would like to see Collin Schlee get more carries at running back. He is a running back labled as a quarterback. Like Plumlee explosiveness.

Hopefully with UCLA up they decide to run the clock out some and give Steele some more carries in the 4th quarter.

could these two commentators be any more obvious in their worship of the Colorado black quarterback? virtually every single thing he does is apparently magnificent. “look at how he’s running around like a chicken with his head cut off! he’s such a supremely athletically gifted headless chicken! and so tough! and even smarter than that! wow, look at how effortlessly he runs out of the pocket directly into the arms of the pass rush! yes, he gracefully and electrifyingly left the safety of the pocket where there was no pass rush in order to amazingly glide into the arms of an otherwise completely out of the play defender! what a leader! so selflessly he gives the defensive players a chance to make sacks! he is a leader of men! a generational talent!”

i’m fairly certain that was the exact quote, but i may have missed some of the more colorful praise. LOL

Herbie and Fowler just laid out the excuses for the UCLA 5 star black quarterback and at the same time taking a dig at Bo Nix for "being 40 years old"

UCLA did not cover the spread against hapless Colorado, primarily due to their 4 first-half turnovers. Two were from Carson Steele, including one particularly bad one. I believe it's a line from Oliver Stone's 'Any Given Sunday' film where someone cries out, "He's carrying that thing like a loaf of bread!"

Colin Schlee threw a very immediate pick on a 15+ yard sideline route that probably hurts his chances for future packages going forward. Frankly, I don't know why Chip Kelly put him in rather randomly in the 2nd quarter... he's never done that to Dante Moore.

A game to forget for Steele despite filling up the stat sheet otherwise. UCLA was just as turnover-prone as they've been with their black 18-yr old QB. Staying on brand, I propose that there is some black coach on the staff who is not properly coaching these players ball security!! I don't know who he is, but they should get rid of him!

On a bit more serious note, Deion doesn't know anything about o-line coaching, and his o-line has been hot garbage. I was disappointed in my few minutes of watching tonight's game that the announcers focused on the lone white guy out of five, a left guard who they did qualify as a "backup" forced into playing time. Colorado doesn't have very many white players at all, so when their team struggles against competition, the way that rather lowly white contributors are highlighted rubs me the wrong way.

Deion's "other" son deserved his ejection for targeting, IMO. I do prefer the old-fashioned school of thought about tackling in the open field. Maybe the flex taunt rubs me the wrong way.

Shame that McConkey is back firing and we lose Bowers!! At least McConkey is the go to player with Bowers out.

I was watching the beginning of the UConn game.....
Rosa was suited up and they were talking about his ankle injury from the previous week (why he was only 2-6).
I guess he wasn’t good to go. I turned my attention elsewhere.

Good recap @TwentyTwo and agreed with the bye weeks, seems to be more of them.

UNC again loses to a team they should have beat. On the positive side Ga Tech's offense looks pretty good with Haynes King at the helm.

Logan Loya should have put himself on the draft radar with his performance last night - he impressed me especially that one handed catch on the sideline and has had a solid year overall. Below is a highlight of his catch, however I would still argue that Pearsall has the catch of the year.

The matchup between UCLA and Colorado was as much of a caste matchup that we seem to get these days. Agree with @Phall on Steele and his two fumbles - I think it was an aberration though. Coughing the ball up twice put a dent into his total carries though. He needs to work on ball security. Kelly's QB rotation without the uninspiring black quarterback in the mix was decent. I think Garbers is solid and given more experience and reps would improve. At this point it's all about Kelly massaging the ego of the 5 star hype job.

Another overlooked upset with caste connotations was Northwestern's win over Maryland. QB Brendan Sullivan had a nice game on offense. LBs Bryce Gallagher and Xander Mueller both made their presence known on defense. DE Aidan Hubbard had 3 sacks as well.

Texas A&M beating South Carolina and their orange quarterback was a nice outcome as well. Kansas St blows out now 3-5 Houston - have to wonder about Dana Holgersen's 6 year contract extension signed in March 2022. He's a caste clown.

I'm not convinced Free Shoes and Washington are as good as their records indicate. Wisconsin put up a fight at least with Ohio St and McCord had three turnovers in the game - he needs to continue to improve if he wants to hold onto the job in Columbus next year.

Goetz had a nice strip sack for Wisconsin and Zachman had an INT! Wisconsin’s defense played much better than I expected. Their air raid offense is a friggin mess though.. Also Braelon Allen coughed the ball up twice and followed that up with an injury.

Wheels slowing falling off in Boulder after Colorado won September. Sanders throws the o-line under the bus. Can't recall a White QB (remember Colorado's QB is Sanders son) getting any sort of bail out by their head coach after getting hit. It's always the White QBs fault. Sanders Jr is a nepo baby.

Alienating your OL seems like a great way of getting your diva son clobbered back there. I’m enjoying Prime’s low IQ takes and screw Colorado!

USC is now ranked #24, right behind perennial powerhouse, James Madison. Will this impact Caleb Williams’ draft stock?

Not a chance he’s been guaranteed #1 since he won the heisman. The combination of idiot cuck nfl organizations and media hype is too powerful. Hopefully he goes to the cardinals

In theory it should. He will still be a consensus Top 10 pick though..
