Since 2006 10,9,9,8,7,9,8,8,8,7,6,7,6,5, 6, 6 and 7 White athletes have started for the Zips. In 2023 they drop down to an all time low of 3.

The MAC is on it's last legs and probably past the point of no return.

Players to watch out for include QB Jeff Undercuffler, QB Ryan Jankowski, TE Nik Ognenovic,

Pretty sure they landed a caste coach whose name escapes me. Brought in spread. Ya Akron Zips is about as uninspiring as a Team/mascot/university gets.

Also, where I grew up, Zips was a pejorative for Italians. Perhaps a name change is in order..
