Four-star 2024 QB Mabrey Mettauer commits to Wisconsin football​

The Wisconsin Badgers land four-star quarterback Mabrey Mettauer from Woodlands, Texas on Christmas Eve.

I held my breath when I heard “dual threat,” but this kid is a 6’5 chad from the state of Texas. This is a nice surprise get for Fickell’s staff as their first high school QB recruit. Hopefully, he makes it onto the field there (certainly not a given for high school QB commits at power conference programs).

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned but about 4 or 5 years ago a poster here mention Wisconsin high school corner Deven Magli. I think he was supposed to go on scholarship to North Dakota but now is on Wisconsin as a PWO safety. I remember this kid sticking out because he had I think like 12 interceptions at corner his sophomore. Year. Nice to know some things will never get old.
