I know he is not well liked on this board, but as a longtime lurker before poster, he had a lot of observations that warrant a second look.

This is the sort of thing that causes bigunrealitis. The Colts had a racially fair draft and white-friendly UDFA signings, now suddenly Borghi gets cut without even being given a chance to show what he can do.

After the (then white-friendly) Green Bay Packers won the Super Bowl and Caste Football wrote an article entitled "The Whitest Team Wins The Super Bowl," the Packers started on the path to being blackers (which really accelerated with this draft).
I think this isn’t really bigunrealitis. That would be claiming that the games and outcomes are often rigged. What you are describing is the Caste System, which we all acknowledge is a system that is purposely stacked against White athletes. When Bigunreal posted purely on the Caste System, staying away from the unprovable assumption that the games were rigged too, he was one of the most astute posters in the site’s history.

Going back to what Borghi is going through, it’s nothing new. It has happened to countless White athletes in the decades before him. Heck it isn’t even close to being the biggest screw job. Mike Hass was a Biletnikoff Award winner and that led to zero opportunities on an NFL roster. 3 teams and zero playing time leading to zero career receptions. Shameful when looking at the countless number of black bums who litter the 4th and 5th receiver depth charts then and now. None of those guys could hold a candle to Hass and his college career.

I liked Big Unreal but he did tend to be a bit extreme at times.

Hit the nail on the head. Hopefully Borghi lands on his feet.

Jack Koerner cut. His scrub black teammate Belton was a 4th round pick of the Giants.
