Since 2006, Texas Tech has started 7, 9, 8, 10, 7, 8, 5, 4, 7, 5, 6, 8, 6, 9, and 7 white players. In 2022 they look to start 6.
Not much to see here with my team this year. If QB Tyler Shough can stay healthy he can have a huge year. The new OC is the same one that led Bailey Zappe to break passing records last season. It’s almost a guarantee every year that TTU will have a mostly white OL. TE Mason Tharp has a lot of potential and is a huge target at 6’9” 250lbs. Good depth at OL and TE. Nothing to see on defense.
OFFENSE
QB Tyler Shough (SR)
TE Mason Tharp (SO)
LG Cole Spencer (SR)
C Cade Briggs (SR) *position battle*
RG Weston Wright (SR)
RT Monroe Mills (SO)
DEFENSE
none
Players to watch:
QB Behren Morton, WR Brady Boyd, WR Drew Hocutt, TE Henry Teeter, TE Baylor Cupp, TE Jason Lloyd, OT Matt Keeler, OT Ty Buchanan, OT Ethan Carde, OG Landon Peterson, LB Jacob Rodriguez, LB Patrick Curley
