Lamar Jackson has given renewed hope to the anti-Whites because of his durability. RGIII, briefly almost as revered as Michael Jackson, disappeared even faster than he appeared, much like many running Black QBs but even worse. As alarming as the propaganda can be, it's little different from what's been an ongoing narrative for over 25 years.

I also think the extra protection QB’s get plus the end of the stigma on sliding has helped. When Philly played Detroit, Hurt was able to fake some slides and draw some roughing penalties that really helped them in a close game

I'm sure you remember when Franco Harris became the first running back to regularly run out of bounds rather than take a hit. It was controversial at the time but now almost all do it and have ever since the days of. . . Franco Harris. The mega-business "sport" of football is constantly being massaged in various ways.

Packers Defense was supposed to carry the team this season. All the "experts" unanimously agreed on that.

LOL. Got ran all over. Pretty amazing how the Packers or the rest of the NFL don't know how to put a spy on the QB. I turned the game off once Rodgers got injured. Have zero desire to see a mediocre black qb try to replace a legend.

Blankenship's INT was great - cut right in front of the receiver. He also had a couple of other nice plays. A guy we recognized many years ago.

Blankenship's stellar play was the highlight of the night for me! Think I'm done watching GB for the year, especially if it's Love going forward..

Jim Brown called him a pansy in code and stated he would rather have Payton break his record because he never stepped out of bounds.

I have seen a few instances where non qb's have slid to avoid a huge hit and they were called soft. I remember doing a slide as a running back and a coach doing a ballet routine with a jump and pirouette because I didn't want to get blown up by the linebacker. The whole team broke out in laughter....

This is stuff that high schools employ on a regular basis. Blows my mind how absolutely horrendous the NFL product has become. From players skills and discipline to coaching and general management, just a shitty product across the board.

As someone who played very high level high school ball (concussion issues meant forgoing my athletic scholarship offers), the NFL product as currently modeled is bad. There are exceptions, of course, but top to bottom it is bad and it has absolutely sullied my desire to watch it.

When Franco was nearing his career rushing mark, Brown challenged Harris to a race. Brown was nearing 50 at the time. They did eventually race, my memory is that Franco won but both were very slow, which isn't surprising as Franco hung around a couple years too long. I looked for it but can't find it on YouTube.

Looking to watch most of this game. I really like Pickett. I hope Pierce gets some opportunities for the Colts.

The Steelers are off to a good start leading the Colts by a score of 13-0. Pickett is 10-12 so far!

It was a pretty big deal at the time, in part because it was comical, but is all but forgotten now. If it happened before the internet it didn't happen.

I appreciate the fact that the Colts drafted Alex Pierce in the 2nd round and have started him in every game of his rookie season…….but, good Lord…..they use him like a decoy. He splits out 10 yards out by himself……no motion….and Ryan then looks the other way. Every CB in the league must pop a beer when they get to cover him……..

Pickett is looking good, hopefully their offense will continue to gain yards in the second half. The Steelers have had a difficult time putting two good halves together this season.

As much as it pains me to says this it might be time for the Colts to move on from Matt Ryan. He has been a good for a very long
time but he has 36 yards passing at half time. This is not acceptable. Alec Pierce is always ignorred but he seems to struggle to get
the ball to any of his receivers and not just Pierce. I remember when Peyton Manning hit the wall. It's different with every guy but
as good as the Steelers Defense is Matt Ryan should still at least put up 100 yards passing even in a bad half. I've seen this alot from
him this year. matt Ryan is 37 years old so I think his time has passed. Not that I don't like him but he is really struggling bad. He is
barely average on most Sundays anymore. What do you guys think?

Game is somewhat interesting going into the forth quarter with Indy now leading.

Johnson drops a TD...nothing new with him. One of the most overrated WRs in football.

Alex Pierce is the Colts most talented receiver. They shoot themselves in the foot by not involving him.
