2022 Miami Dolphins

Looks like the only white starters this year are Liam Eichenberg, Connor Williams and Mike Gesicki. Andrew Van Ginkel and Zach Sieler are nice rotational pieces on defense but don't have the required melanin to be starters. Van Ginkel has been demoted in favor of afflete Elandon Roberts. Same goes for C Michael Dieter who's also been demoted to back up status since they moved Connor Williams from G to C in order to shoehorn 1st round megabust Austin Jackson into the starting lineup. One positive note is that River Cracraft has seen some playing time, even catching a TD pass in last weeks game against the Ravens. From a starting lineup standpoint, this team is definitely a downgrade from last year.

Thanks for the write up and sorry you have to endure such an anti-White roster as a fan. The black GM Grier has really put his stamp on the squad. I did a little head count and it’s pretty bad as Fejedelem is on IR and Cracraft seemed to be a temporary PS game day call up (how the heck does that work?). Anyway adding in the White LS Blake Ferguson and subtracting the other 2 leaves only 13 of our guys. Maybe myself (or someone else who has time) can tally all of the rosters and starters once we finish all of the teams. If memory serves, the Dolphins have to be amongst the worst 10%.

PS - Benching Van Ginkel is a joke as he’s proven his spot the last 2 years. He’s seems to always have the nose for big turnover generating plays.

It's ultimately on the coaching staff to decide who starts. That's where McDaniel gets a big fat F from me. Demoting Van Ginkel and Dieter is criminal. These guys are solid starters. The only thing they lack is melanin. Austin Jackson is a bust, but the coaching staff can't bring themselves to admit that because of the "upside" factor. If he were white, he would have been benched already.

Grier's biggest problem is that he loaded this roster with way too many sumos on the O-line. If Eichenberg or Williams goes down, we don't have the depth to replace them.

That’s fair to blame the “black” dweeb of a HC for those benchings. They are inexcusable.

However, let’s not give Grier a pass. There are simply too few White players on the 53 and practice squad. It’s thin gruel. Other than at TE, I’d argue that Whites are totally ignored at every other position. Maybe past GMs were worse, but by how much, as it’s hard to go lower than 13 Whites?

Bringing in Bridgewater also reeks of black nepotism. The guys a bum but somehow is considered a “valuable backup”? With the ever growing number of black GMs, he might have a guaranteed paycheck for as long or longer than Josh Johnson.

Mike Gesicki is being phased out of the Miami offense. One of the most athletic tight ends ever, and a very productive receiving one, is down to around 40% of the snaps per game. Durham Smythe is now the TE who plays the most.

One reason may be that Smythe is more of a blocking tight end and is needed to help bolster the always crappy Miami o-line. So one of the best receiving tight ends in the league is going to have a wasted season. Gesicki signed just a one-year deal for this season so he needs to get out of Miami for a better situation in 2023.

I can't imagine the kids emotions after hearing a doctor say that. He should get a 2nd opinion but if another doctor says it
then he should retire. No amount of money can restore your health. I can't imagine how hard it would be to walk away from
fame and fortune in your prime but we only have 1 body for life. I wish him the best regardless of his decision.

Thank you both for this insight. I knew that Van Ginkel was jerked around, going from a starter last year to a reserve. Clearly its not talent based, as he outperformed the brothas ahead of him with a fraction of the snaps. Barton I've been monitoring as I have him in the Lambert League. An obvious stud the first quarter of the season, I've now been forced to leave him on the bench as Wigger Pete had to throw WT under the bus. Even with the limited snaps, Barton is usually 2nd on the teams in tackles. And don't get me started on Singleton, who I've ranted about too many times......I like the term Don and am going to use the Singleton Treatment going forward.

Once again the Dolphins unravel after a good start, similar to the Cardinals with Murray and Kucksbury. Rookie Skylar Thompson will start, he's flashed talent and hopefully does well even though the odds are stacked against him considering the opponent:

Tagovailoa is still in the league's concussion protocol after suffering another brain injury on Christmas Day against the Packers. Head coach Mike McDaniel has refused to give a timeline on when -- or if -- Tua can return to the team. With almost no chance of beating the Bills in Buffalo in the Wild Card round, the Dolphins will hope Tua can come back for the team's offseason program.

It’s pretty cool that a 7th round rookie quarterback, who the Caste System has overlooked, is getting to start in a playoff game. I’m rooting for the Bills but I hope that Thompson has an eye opening performance that’s good enough to cement his as the clear cut #2 next season. As a backup to Tua, he’s likely the get a good number of starts.
