I can knock out the rest of the Independents. If someone wants Notre Dame though, go for it.

It may be possible to salvage some of the lost posts from 8/16/2022 thru 9/4/2022 by using cached results in search engines. If you find a write-up that is worth reposting, you can copy and paste it into a text file or into new post on the site. Keep in mind it is not possible to navigate links within the cached pages, only the page visited can be viewed. Also, the date of the post listed on the cached forum will be relative to the date the page was cached as displayed near the top of the cached result. For example, for a page cached on 8/18, "Today" means the post was created 8/18 and "Yesterday" means 8/17. Search engine crawling of the site has been disabled temporarily so that cached results will not be overwritten.

Bing (set to past month, click the green ▾ next to URL and select Cached):

Yahoo (set to past month, click the gray ⌄ next to URL and select Cached):

I’ll check the list and get an accurate list of the teams that need to be re-done. I guess the silver lining is that we can use the actual week 1 official depth charts to get an even more accurate count of White starters.

Recovered 17 teams. Not sure if there are any others still cached. I think the list is up to date. I just did a quick check.

Colorado State 2022 is missing; it looks like @Claimjumper usually writes them up. I wrote UCLA and UTEP late in August, and they're gone too (I'll rewrite them this week). Also missing at a glance: Temple, Penn State (@Don Wassall ), Florida Atlantic, Central Florida, Nebraska, Miami (OH), Akron, and others. It seems like using the master list from @Leonardfan as it was saved at the time of the server cache is unfortunately pretty accurate as far as what's still missing, less the 17 he recovered.

Could everyone who participated please check their teams manually? I am sure it's a pain, but I'll volunteer to help if anyone ends up with a big pile. The blurbs and commentary are not as important as the starter tallies and names (if possible).

Thanks for helping out with this. Not sure if @Claimjumper and @Heralded_Defender have been back on since the site crashed. I added the remaining teams that I had saved to file. I think we were able to recover about 30 teams total. Still have more work to do.

ACC is finished up (again). Looks like @Claimjumper finished up the Sun Belt (again). Many thanks to you @Claimjumper for re-doing the work.

It would be nice if we got some help from other members. I think I can speak for all of us who put the time and effort into doing the research and write-ups originally ( @Phall @Claimjumper @Red Raider @Bucky @Heralded_Defender @TwentyTwo @Carolina Speed @Don Wassall ) before the site crashed and we lost much of our work would appreciate other members taking a team or two to do write-ups.

Ourlads seems pretty up to date now since the season started - https://www.ourlads.com/ncaa-football-depth-charts/ and you can click on many of the players to get a photo. It's much easier than preseason where we had to do research, make projections etc. Any team without the word Done next to it needs to be re-done. Feel free to volunteer.

Also - @Heralded_Defender hasn't been seen since the site crash and rebuild - come on back!

Just wanted to revisit this - we still have teams that need to be redone. Question is do we want to redo them to get the 2022 season recorded for all teams or do we just call it quits on the write-ups. I'll just come out and say it - I'm more than happy to redo some of the remaining write-ups but forum members need to step up and assist (and not the great members who work with me on this every year but posters who do not participate at all). If we don't get the write-ups redone I won't be leading this effort in future seasons. It should be much easier now to do accurate write-ups using Ourlads or the school's official depth charts as it is week 12 of the season. Here are the teams that need to be written up again. If I have made any mistakes below please let me know:
