I agree Doncic is in for a monster year. I just hope he isn't over doing it. He had a long year last year. Last summer
he played in the olympics in basketball in the summer after the season and then went into another long year combined
with a deep playoff run. Sometimes even young guys can overdo it. Love to see him in Euro Basket but I just hope his
body can hold up to the wear and tear. He is in the best shape of his life which helps along with only being 22.

One of the players I am really rooting for this year is Christian Braun who went to the Denver Nuggets. He is on a playoff team with a very
deep roster so minutes will be hard to come by. However, Braun showed how he is a defensive stopper in the NBA Summer League. Braun
is just too good to not contribute. It's just a question of how many minutes he will get. I expect him to be a key 7th or 8th guy on the team
to start and build on his role from there.

The Utah Jazz will probably be one of the best teams to watch in the NBA in 2022/2023. They have 3 white guys in the starting 5 group.
Something you don't see much anymore. They also have 2 athletic white rookies in Leandro Bolmaro. & Simone Fontecchio. I am super pumped to see how Walker Kessler and Lauri Markkenen do there. Bojan Bogdanovich despite being older is a proven starter and he can score at will. So after all the years of a long drought in Utah we have a team we can really root for and get behind. Let's Go Utah Jazz! I also
want to add one more thing. Kessler is 21 and Markkenen 25 so like the dynamic duo in OKC they will be a force for a very long time!

Breakouts​

Breakout: A player who will leap into or close to the upper echelon of players at his position for the first time because of a dramatic increase in production compared to his previous seasons.

Eric Moody -- Josh Giddey, Oklahoma City Thunder: I'm a huge fan of Giddey, as those who read my columns last year will know. The Rookie of the Month Award was bestowed upon him four times last year due to his stellar performance. There was no other player in the 2021 class who earned the award more than twice. Giddey averaged 12.5 PPG, 7.8 RPG, 6.4 APG, and 1.0 SPG with a 22.2% usage rate. In all of those statistical areas, he is well positioned to see an increase. The statistical leap Giddey may make in his second season could be similar to that of LaMelo Ball. Other than Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Giddey, the Thunder don't have many playmakers.

Jim McCormick -- Franz Wagner, Orlando Magic: Lowkey awesome as a rookie for the Magic, Wagner finished 50th overall on ESPN's Player Rater as a 20-year-old on a team beset by brutal backcourt injuries and an overall absence of steady point guard play. With Markelle Fultz's distribution skills and Paolo Banchero's passing prowess joining the roster, Wagner might finally get some "easy" catch-and-shoot work this season. The Michigan product, meanwhile, was a total boss for Germany at EuroBasket this summer, flashing a series of effective pull-up and step-back 3-pointers from a live dribble. Given what should be a big role as a building block next to Banchero, Wagner becoming a starting fantasy force at both forward spots could be in the works.

No problem guys. So many guys on this great website that contribute. Your all mvps as the site wouldn't work without all of
us volunteers. It's a shame about Chet Holmgren getting hurt but the future is bright in OKC and they have several other
guys to root for. Hoping more teams will follow after Utah, Miami, Sacremento, Orlando and Denver. In the nba is really makes a
huge differnce if you watch a game with 2 or 3 or the five starts being white guys. Now we need to see that trend grow and for these
teams to become contenders.

With white men being phased out of administration roles and women/minorities still enjoying their honeymoon phase, the NBA had to cull one of its own, as jewish owner of the Phoenix Suns Robert Sarver announced he will sell the team. The news comes after mega-sponsor Paypal announced it would no longer do business with this Sarver-led organization, with smaller dominos sure to follow (no official position on Sarver's bank, business chains, or Spanish La Liga team). Sarver's offenses seem both mild and dated: he allegedly repeated the dreaded N-Word in a quote out loud five different times! He also made a sexually-suggestive comment in the presence of some females who worked for him. There aren't time stamps on this hearsay, but Sarver bought the team in 2004, when you could "get away" with a lot more normal behavior. These still qualify as the poisonous buzzwords 'racism' and 'sexism.'

Don't feel too sorry for Mr. Sarver. Not only are the Suns regularly one of the blackest teams in the league: Sarver himself is an aggressive open-borders lunatic. He spurred the initiative for his team to wear "Los Suns" jerseys well before this sort of pandering was established fashion, and he lobbies as a vocal progressive activist. His jewish father established what became the biggest bank in Tucson. The younger Sarver bought the team for $400 million, and the current net worth is rumored to be $1.8 billion. His estate will weather this storm.

When I see this sort of jew-on-jew violence, I wonder what the little guy did to piss off his betters. We'll probably never know, but one rumor floated is that NBA commissioner Adam Silver wants LeBron James to make a bid. This would give the NBA what every sports league (and sports journalist) has been pining for - a black-led ownership group. Once we have that, we will have finally arrived in a post-racial utopia.

It's funny that he has to sell the WNBA team like it's some separate entity. In reality, it's an insoluble business on its own that loses about ~$10 million/yr.

One hypothesis I read elsewhere that I found agreeable was that these WNBA franchises are an unofficial form of lawsuit damage arbitrage, as owners and the league itself can cite their balance sheets as "contributions already made" when the inevitable accusations come at some point down the road. It's the same principle used by large corporate HR departments as they try to go above and beyond the current-year DEI regulations: they know the next steps will be progressive, and they acknowledge that there could be a penalty for falling behind the curve. So, it becomes a steady, constant one-upsmanship to be as woke as possible.

Too bad for Sarver that organizing and footing the bill for that entire fraudulent business model was not enough 'insurance deposit' to get himself off the hook.

The Celtics are in the process of legalizing a year-long suspension for their African head coach Ime Sunday Udoka for having consensual sex with one of the team's female "staffers." Why does an NBA team have female staffers, you might ask? That is just one of the many bounties from living in a prosperous, diverse, rules-based order of democracy.

One of the many problems with the NBA is that head coaches are recognizably lower than star players in the pecking order. A star player can usually get a coach fired if they don't get along. There are so many fitness trainers, dietitians, drill instructors, statistical analysts, and specialists in the org chart that it's hard to remember what exactly the coach does anymore (same with baseball now tbh). Black coaches are still the minority though, and "exotic" ones like Ime Udoka are even more rare. That's why it's both odd to see this particular hammer come down and understandable given the overstated value of his presence.

Ime Udoka, despite his fancy name, was actually birthed by an unmarried white woman with a low moral fiber from Portland, Oregon, who dallied with a Nigerian man. I often wonder what goes on with these blacks when they pick names for their kids. I can follow how a first-generation immigrant would name his children in the traditional language of his people. By the second generation, the grandkids are likelier to be named Mary, Joe, Buddy, and Susie. My parents are approximately third-generation Americans, and they watched TV credits in search of baby names that rolled of the tongue. Ime Udoka sired a daughter with an American black from Brooklyn (unmarried single mom), and they named their daughter Kez Sunday Udoka. I believe that blacks relish in their cultural distinction and (as a bloc) have no desire to assimilate into American/Western society. In ten generations, they will still be naming their kids the equivalent of Daquizz and Clyneesha.

I can't really fault Ime Sunday Udoka for having a consensual sexual affair with a woman in his workplace. I suspect that she made herself very available to him and suffered no extraordinary professional or emotional consequences. I can, however, blame him for siring yet another black bastard child with a stupid name, though.

I would expect that he pushes Kessler to the bench. This move definitely diminishes the points that will be scored by white players on Utah unless they really plan to slide Fontecchio into a major role. Bogdanovic will be an afterthought in Detroit.

Kind of a bummer overall.

Great Rant!! Lots of laughs out of me! I’m sure the women that were knocked up played a huge part in naming these children especially the white women. I doubt that the Udoka boys gave a rats ass.

Horrible news as the Jazz were gonna have 3 white starters and now most likely it will only be 2 starters. I understand though as he
is in his early 30's and they are trying to build for the futrue but Olyynyk isn't much younger than Bogdanovic. Wish they would have
kept Bojan B. and let him retire there after 1 or 2 more years. Bogdanovic still averaged 18 points per game. At 33 years of age he
is in decline but still so fun to watch! The guy can still play at a high level. This sucks. We like you said maybe
one of the younger guys can step up and grab an opportunity. I think they should start Kessler regardless. The kid is a monster down
there and will bring back memories of Mark Eaton and Andreil Kirlenko as he blocks everything in sight!

Rookie Fit Preview: Nikola Jovic Offers Versatile Skillset for Heat

After another season of falling just short, the Miami Heat will look to finally get over the hump in the 2022-23 season.
With just one rookie taken in the 2022 NBA Draft, Nikola Jovic will have to scrap and fight to earn valuable minutes on a likely playoff bound Miami squad.

The Rookie Class​

Nikola Jovic (Forward | No. 27 Overall)
At 6-foot-11, 223-pounds, Jovic offers a unique physical profile with a floor-spacing skillset, something that should aid Miami. Jovic will likely play a majority of his career on the wing, and will primarily function as a catch-and-shoot spacer who will strive to be a net-positive on defense.

Roles and Opportunities​

As stated before, despite not being able to get over the NBA Finals hump as of late, Miami is still a talented team.
They have talent teeming across the board, but could use Jovic to bolster their wing depth with just superstar Jimmy Butler and Caleb Martin as the only true wings on the team. Neither of which have a ton of length to go around.
As a plug-and-play shooter, Jovic could insert himself into a variety of lineups alongside guards like Tyler Herro and versatile center Bam Adebayo.
The problem lies within whether Jovic will remain efficient enough to stay on the floor early in his career.

Projections​

Jovic had an extremely solid California Summer League. The youngster scored 11.3 points per game in three games, shooting 43 percent from the field and 42 percent from three on 4.7 attempts.
While not overwhelmingly positive numbers, for a player spending time on a brand new team in a brand new environment, he was pretty solid.
There’s a path whether Jovic can creep into valuable minutes for Miami, but it will likely be a slow grind for the Serbian shooter.
Despite that, Jovic will likely fill an extremely valuable role for Miami for the foreseeable future.

It's been a couple of days since the trade but I'm still angry about Utah sending off Bogdonavich to Detroit. He was such a great
player for the Jazz over many, many years and he did alot for the community there. Wouldn't be suprised if he moves back when
he retires as they love and support the guy.

Back to Walker Kessler. Again he should be a starter. Why start a 31 year old journey man over him? It doesn't make any sense other
than screwing over another white guy. Kessler was unstoppable in college. He did it on both ends of the floor. This guy is also such
a great defender the he could eventually win the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award. He is that good. No way he should be in
the second or third string unless he is hurt. I want to see him become an all star. He reminds me of Kevin Love but even better when
it comes to blocking shots. The guy is a human fly swatter and can rebound with anyone.

The Golden State Warriors opened up the nba preseason with a huge blowout win in Japan tonight. Despite Klay Thompson
not playing they chose not play Mac McClung. So it's a huge blowout win yet you can't empty the bench. It just really makes
me angry as McClung deserves better than to sit at the end of the bench. I can see the Warriors doing to him what the Lakers did. I
hated him going there but the kid is just desparate to sign with any team. Then he has to hope they play him. So he wins the 2022 NBA
G League Rookie of the Year award yet he still sits in the nba preseason. Complete B.S.
