2021 Track Season Results

Next weekend in Torun we will have the 2021 European Indoor Track & Field Championships. It's gonna be fun to watch with the best athletes from around Europe battling it out.

In the sprints I would love to see 1 or 2 of our guys break into the high 6.40's range. It might take that kind of time to win the championship over 60 meters. Off the top of my head I can
only think of two white sprinters to run in the 6.40s range. Morne Nagel and Richard Kilty. Maybe we will see one of our guys break through. It's also very rare for a sprinter to run in the
6.40's over 60 meters indoors and not go sub 10 outdoors. Now both of these guys failed but on the average it almost guarantees you a sub 10 at some point in good conditions. Richard Kilty
was so close with a 10.01 lifetime p.b. Teeters, Reus, Kilty and other of our sprinters have run 10.00 or 10.01. Hoping for this to change in the near future.

No, not flash at all - although he has 6 weeks or so to peak for our championships. He may get a 20.50 but we have no great 200 sprinters. Most of our 100 guys are too lazy to do it.

I had a look at the results of the 100m and 200m NSW State Champs from this weekend.

Josh Azzopardi ran a nice PB of 21.03. Out of Hale and Browning I think Browning has more potential in the 200m due to being taller, which seems to help a lot in the 200m. I know everybody wants to be the 100m king but if Browning committed himself to the 200m he should easily be able to run <20.50. He has the speed he just needs to build the speed endurance. Atm his best official 200m is 20.71 from January 2018. His fastest ever 200m is 20.54 back in December 2017 (+2.9 wind).

Browning's (virtually) nil wind 10.20 has to be lowered to <10.10, same conditions. He's stuck where he is it seems. Hope he can see his way through it.
IMHO he won't do 200s ... he had been on the start list to do 200 after the 100 this past weekend but obviously didn't sign in. I can only think it was a half-assed decision to enter some weeks earlier.

I took some time and watched some specific hilights from this past weekends Euro Indoor Championships. Question: does France or Sweden have any competitive female short sprinters who are not brown, negro or mulatto, or have they given up on their home grown white sprinters? Also it still shocks me to see Black athletes representing israel lol Talk about a double standard.

21 year old Henrik Larsson of Sweden is their best sprinter. Not sure if he was hurt but he has run 6.60 indoors and 10.20 outdoors wind legal. The kid has the genetics and desire to compete and I hope he can remain healthy.

France probably has tbh. Female judo in France is practically all black now.

Matthew Boling has made it through to the finals for the NCAA 200 Meters Indoor Championships.

It seems he could have had a better time, as he shut it down quickly at the end of the race.
In any case, he seems to be in great shape.

Gaston Bouchereau of Oregon qualified for the finals of NCAA 60m.

Cunningham won’t be the only White athlete competing in the finals of the 60m hurdles, either ... South Carolina sophomore (from Slovenia), Filip Demsar set a personal best in the semifinals.

This is not high school and Boling needs to give up the long jump. He should either do the 60 and 200 meters or the 200 & 400 meters along with the relay. He didn't medal in the long jump at the SEC Champs
and the same here. He is not even close the the level of a medal. I'm not knocking him but he needs to stick to what he does best. He is an elite 200 meter talent. He has similar potential in the 100 & 400 meters but
please for the love of God give up the long jump. For him to win medals he would have to focus on just that event and no one cares much about the long jump. The money & the fame is in the 100 & 200 meters period!

Trey Cunningham of Florida State is such an amazing athlete. Hope he can win tommorow but barring a slip/fall or knocking into a few hurdles he is a sure medalist.

Glad to see Gaston Bouchereau of Oregon make the finals. He is very tall but he has some serious wheels. If he could just improve his start he could get into the high 6.50's i.m.o.

Claire Bryant, a freshman at the University of Florida, took 2nd in the women's NCAA long jump - 6.70 meters (21'- 11-3/4")

Abby Steiner didn't perform well in the 60m heats, but was the leading qualifier in the 200m.

6-7 Karel Tilga Estonia wins men’s indoor hept with a 6264 score for UGeorgia.
Georgi Nachev Bulgaria is in to the men’s Triple Jump for UMissouri
Rita Lasmane Latvia is in the women’s Triple Jump for Fl.State

Abby Steiner didn’t press in the 60m and saved up, is easily the best 200m runner on the Women’s side. I predict she sets the NCAA indoor record tomorrow.

Matthew Boling needs a PB to win the Men’s 200m. I think he will do it and get either first or second.

Trey Cunningham is the best 60h on the Men’s side and should win. He destroyed all of nfl cb marlon humphries alabama state records. If he was black then scum head coach nick Saban would have shown up pre-lubed up with lipstick on and begged Trey Cunningham to be the next great cb for Alabama.

Asian men especially Chinese and Japanese are raised as very confident, secure men. Alot of the time they are just over the line of being arrogant compared to western(white) standards.

Apparently his first race in 17 months. Had been out with back and hip issues.
He would have easily taken the world lead in the event if he didn't put on the brakes at the end.
