after scrolling through his feed, i learned a few things:

he participated in 5 events at the DII national championships - the 60m, the 60m hurdles, the 200m, the 4x400 relay, and the distance medley relay. he ALSO qualified to run the 400m, but elected not to run that event with his grueling schedule. that might be no big deal, BUT he set the DII indoor 400m record earlier this season in Fayetteville, AR with a 45.27.

at the national championships, Brassitt had quite a day:
won the gold medal in the 60m hurdles
won the gold medal (and set a DII national record in 20.48) in the 200m
won the gold medal in the 4x400m relay (45.52 split)
won the bronze in the 60m

Emile Erasmus is back on the track.
He ran 10.45 (-1,1) into a negative wind.
Not a great time, but at least he's running. Hopefully he's on his way to superior times soon.

That's awesome Emile finally had a race. It's been a long time and I know that him and his family must really be struggling down there. We know that he has
the talent to compete with just about anyone in the world when healthy! The guy runs low 10's like a jog in the park when in peak form. Amazing sprinter!

I think we should keep a close eye on Riley Day of Australia. She is only 21 and seems to get a little better each year. She finally broke into the 22's in the 200 meters with
a legal wind. As she continues to mature physically I can see bigger things in the future. Australia really needs more female sprinters at a high level. I also find it ironic that
so many austtralian sprinters mostly ignore the 200 meters. I love the 100 but the 200 meters is almost as entertaining.

Bingtian Su of China opens his outdoor season with a 10.05. Wind was only 0.6.

Su's time is quite an eye opener for a first outdoor 100m of the season. Bodes well for the rest of the season for him.

Tommorow in Australia we will have the latest clash between Rohan Browning and Jack Hale. If the weather is ok, I hope they both step up their times significantly. It is an Olympic Year and neither of
them have qualified for the individual 100 meters. Let's see if they can push each other and meet the qualifying standards time of 10.05 seconds. Hope it doesn't rain again as Australia has have enough
rain in the last week for the whole year. I think it's going to be cloudy but we need some sun and not too much wind. Crossing my fingers for some really fast times!

Great news from Australia. The mens and womens 100 meters were both electric!

Rohan Browning runs an Olympic Qualifying time of 10.05 wind legal. Yes it's a new personal best for him and Rohan just booked his ticket to the individual 100 meters in this summers
Olympic Games. I'm so pumped right now! What a great race and he looked very relaxed. I see more to come from this young man in the near future. It's too bad Jack Hale was very slow
out of the blocks and could only battle back for a very pedestrian time of 10.33 and 3rd place. Hale has not been his usual self this season. He should be 10.2's at the worst. Regardless it's a
great day as Rohan Browning is now the 3rd fastest Australian Male Sprinter of all time after Patrick Johnson and Matt Shirvington.

One the womens side we also saw a great performance by Hana Basic won won in a very fast time of 11.19 wind legal. She is in great form at the moment and one to watch out for. Finally we
have a female Aussie Sprinter to root for!

I would love to see Athletics Australia offer some decent prize money for breaking Australian Records in Track and Field. For example, they could offer 50k for each time an Australian Record is broken and then add 1k for each year that the record has stood for e.g. the Australian 200m NR was set in 1968 so anybody that breaks it in 2021 would receive 50k + 53k bonus as the record has stood for 53 years! Unfortunately there's not much money in athletics in Australia so a lot of our best athletes end up going to AFL or NRL. Look at Trae Williams. He was running low 10s and now he's off playing rugby 7s.

Sally placed 3rd in the world youth championships 100 final in 2004 and 4th in the 100 hurdles final same meeting.
Her 100 PB is 11.14 from the heats in Osaka, Japan 2007 world champs

I'd say he's injured and it's hampering his training, having done that 10.21 5 weeks ago and expecting big things to come this season

Eddie's 2nd place finish is where Jack Hale's best (10.12) would be - so that's the distance how out of form he is.
Indeed, he only just managed to ward off the lesser sprinters beside him.

Jackson Webb of Oklahoma won the Texas Relays 100m (collegiate) in 10.22 (1.3w).
A good outdoor debut after a good indoor season.

That is an outstanding time for Jackson Webb. He actually ran a 10.03 a week ago but there was too much wind. Regardless it shows he has the leg turnover to drop his times even more. This is
a huge progression from last season. I hadn't though much about him lately but a 10.22 wind legal in his 2nd race is amazing! Does anyone have a video of the race? Thanks.
