Ole Miss has started 3, 4, 3, 4, 3, 4, 4, 3, 3, 2, 4, 3, 4, 6, 1, and 5 white athletes since 2006. Shockingly, Ole Miss increases to a record 8 starters, with potential for 9 should John Rhys Plumlee become a starting WR.

Besides standout QB Matt Corrall, Ole Miss features speedy dual threat QB John Rhys Plumlee transitioning to WR. It will be interesting to see what his role will be this season. Ole Miss also adds Maryland transfer Chance Campbell at LB, giving them the first white defensive starter I can remember this decade. A snow plow OL tops this team off. Did you think you would live to see the day Ole Miss was whiter than Stanford? This might be the whitest team in the SEC this year.

Offense -
QB - Matt Corrall
TE - Casey Kelly
LT - Nick Boeker
LG - Caleb Warren
C - Ben Brown
RG - Jeremy James
RT - Eli Acker

Defense -
LB - Chance Campbell

Back ups include QB Kinkead Dent, WR John Rhys Plumlee, TE Chase Rogers (transfer from Louisiana), and LG Reece McIntyre. Don't expect the team to stay like this.

I hope Plumlee is incorporated into the offense heavily and we see Chance Campbell have a healthy year where he starts every game.

What's the consensus on Matt Corral? Pretty sure he is White (Spanish/Portugese heritage??). Here he is with his parents and brother:

Too bad Col. Reb isn't here anymore to celebrate this unexpected turnaround.

Jack Lambert was also a topnotch poster for sure. But the nature of forums -- and human nature -- is that once someone who posts regularly suddenly doesn't post at all for whatever reason or reasons, they very rarely return to posting regularly. The history of all forums illustrates that.

We've been blessed here with so many great posters over time. An occasional one does return, often only briefly, but the main issue is how to attract new posters in an era of social media monopolies thoroughly censoring non-party line viewpoints. And we have seen the arrival of some quality posters over the past year or so which gives me some optimism.

It has been nice to see some new posters for sure. The Olympics, World Cup and MMA have seen some new members add to the discussion. Typically a few part time posters will come back for football season as well. It's tough sledding to get people to join this site although judging by the views so many threads get CF does get some traffic even with all the censorship in place.

Yes, the views are relatively close to where they were when posting was at its peak. Posting now is pretty variable from day to day but has been on the uptick which is good to see.

There's also a lot of search engine bots on here every day, doing their thing, which apparently is to make sure we have results that eventually show up in searches, on like page 50 or so.

Wow, first I read the Louisiana Tech preview and can’t believe my eyes. Next preview I click on is Ole Miss for the schadenfreude. Now I’m seriously wondering if I’m in bizarro world. If I click on Auburn and they have 10 White starters I’m going to play the lottery….

Btw, I thought Mississippi State would be the team from that state with the better chance to buck the trend due to Mike Leach. This will be the first year since I joined CF that the Magnolia State will be worth checking in on.

First time in a while that the Ole Miss Rebels have lived up to their name instead of being the New Miss Conformists. Starting 8 or 9 white players in the SEC is definitely a courageous and rebellious move.

Definitely seems to have some Mexican in him. His dad looks like a lot of the Mexican men in my area. Looks like a nice kid with a good family. I’ll root for him. As long as Plumlee isn’t froze out at wr.

Too bad that Luke Knox who was LB now switched to TE, where his brother Dawson played in FBS.
