I was thinking the same thing as I saw the ending. Specifically, it feels like they always have a subpar kicker. I can recall many games they’ve lost due to missed field goals and even missed extra points. Just look at yesterday. All the focus was on the missed kicked at the end, but he’d already missed an extra point. They would have at least went to OT but these little things are the difference between a good team and a mediocre one. They really need a good, consistent kicker.
Absolutely agree. There’s gotta be statistic on that? Feels like The Vikes haven’t had a consistent kicker in years.

Btw I just did something I never thought I would do. I placed a bet on The Lions. At Lambeau.
Last week was among the worst performances I’ve seen The Packers put up.
But nevertheless I sincerely hope I lose my bet.

Kirk Cousins, Adam Thielen, Nick Vigil, and Harrison Smith all sweated it out on the field and played great games. The kicker, Greg Joseph, let them all down. I'm not one to scapegoat kickers when it's not their fault but this time it really was his fault. It's Blair Walsh 2.0 (and it always seems to be an ultra-Caste team that's the beneficiary of the missed kicks; last time it was Pete's Plantation). It's just frustrating to watch. I hope the Vikings management has done what I would do...make it clear to Greg Joseph that this isn't acceptable and his job isn't safe.

P.S. Lurkers take note...we don't scapegoat white players unfairly but we do call them out when they actually screw up.

Braxton Berrios 7/73, led the Jets in targets, catches and yardage yesterday. The bad news is that Jamison Crowder may be back next game and he's been their starting slot receiver and is one of the better ones. So we'll have to see if Berrios continues to be used or not.

LB Josey Jewell has a torn pec; likely out for the season...
Word is, it appeared to have happened on a special teams play...

The Manning Brothers broadcast is much better than the main broadcast on ESPN. Goff looked good on that 1st drive.

Goff to Hock for the TD - the Mannings and Gronk calling out the LB in coverage

From the George Kittle Tight End Training Academy ......Robert Tonyan 22 yard TD catch on the post pattern ! Perfect throw from Aaron Rodgers!

Alex Anzalone looks like a Running Back wearing #34!

Two rising TEs displaying their talent in front of a national audience.

Anzalone with 5 unassisted tackles so far.

Detroit actually looks like a competent team. I still find the Rams move from Goff to Stafford odd. Goff playing with a mediocre WR corp and a Top Flight TE looks good out there. Hopefully Anzalone gets a longer term deal after this season as well.

Would be nice if GB signed Clay with OLB Smith injured...

Lancaster and Lowery holding their own on the line. No Ty Summers in on D so far...

Would be nice if the Packers activated Heflin too - my guess is that would be a stout line. The Packers LBs are bad - the "Smith Brothers" - they should be criticized greatly (I know one is on IR right now) and Gary has been a pass rushing bust so far. Just a slug with a 5 star rating.

The Smiths are pretty overrated. And that’s from a Packers-fan.
Apparently, for some analysts, it doesn’t matter if you’re mediocre or even downright bad for 90% of all snaps if you once in a while make a highlight-reel play.

Some interesting facts about Vikings kicker (((Greg Joseph))) from his Wikipedia page...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greg_Joseph
Good catch.

It’s some thick irony that’s Joseph’s jewish family had to flee South Africa when he was 7 due to “the political situation” there. A political situation that Joseph’s fellow tribesmen, lead by Joe Slovo the Leninist-Marxist, created. That’s the thing with parasitic Js, they always bite the hand that feeds. Apartheid SA was a safe place where these “merchants” could thrive. But their hatred for Europeans even outweighs their own well-being, hence siding with the “other” to topple “whiteness”. Wreck SA, flee to US, rinse and repeat. Soon these rats will be fleeing this sinking ship and move on to the next nation to leach off of and destroy.

Sorry for the rant but I’ll be rooting for an actual White man to replace this “fellow white” for the Vikings.

Maybe Joseph should drop the ”c” from his title as ”kicker”?
