This game is beautiful to watch with the prevalence of pale faces everywhere. The Black players are doing good as well, but great to see so many guys out there just getting after it. Hoping for a Riley Moss INT and this'll be a perfect day.

Petras has looked poor for Iowa to start the game, and he played poorly last week as well, though he didn’t make any big mistakes. hopefully, he will settle down and become much more efficient AND effective. if not, the Hawkeyes defense is going to have to carry them this year.

so far, Iowa State hasn’t been able to cover Iowa wideout Charlie Jones. he’s drawn a defensive holding penalty and also been wide open on two other occasions (as well as had a sparkling punt return), but Petras hasn’t looked to get him the ball yet. Jones is a player who can break open a game, i think, if he can just get the ball into his hands.

Horvath left with a lower leg injury - had a boot on so it does not sound like a knee issue. Hopefully he just got pulled since this game is a blowout.

Kelly pulls Coan out of the game for a "spark" on offense. ND def drops a tier with the half asian under center.

Announcer actually said something like, Riley Moss, the most NFL ready player on defense.

Yes sir. That's what we like to hear. I'm watching that game as well.

Checked the stats on the Clemson Game. They are up 28-0 in the first half. Will Shipley has 3 rushes for 19 yards so far! :)

Shipley ran for about 30 yards or so....
I’m going back and forth between games.

Loving Iowa vs Iowa State game. Lots of our guys are playing and the winner can really make a run at a playoff birth.

Scoop and score for Iowa! The much talked about Iowa St RB fumbles it in the shadow of the Cyclone end zone.

Clemson O is awful. Hard to believe DJ Uiagaglelei was no.1 in his 2020 class.

Only reason Iowa isn't a championship caliber team is coaches were blind for picking QBs.
Petras and Stanley, CJ and Rudock... Imaging IOWA have Plumlee (Ole Miss) type of QB would be much watchable.

It’s frustrating that Iowa and Wisconsin can’t get top QB’s.

Aiden Hutchinson absolutely destroying UW. UW is also refusing to use Sean McGrew, who ran a 10.5 in Hs and is an official 4.3 guy.

at least Uws caste friendly defense is playing great aside from a big run allowed by their Asian DB

Is anyone watching Stanford? They used to be a must watch.....I saw on the stat sheet Casey Filkins had one carry (during the first drive) for minus ten yards.....
Probably a trick play.....I’m thinking he’s third/ fourth string so he’d only be in that early if they were trying something funny......

I know it's wasn't the best opponent but I love how good Will Shipley played today. 8 carries for 80 yards. He returned kicks, caught receptions. We are seeing just
the tip of the iceburg of the next CMac. He has McCaffrey talent. His skill set is as high as they come and he will become a household name. It's too bad Clemson's QB
is sporadic so far as many black quarterbacks are. I just am excited to see a stud rb at the highest level playing on one the top 5 college teams in football year in and year out.
Shipley could end up being a high draft pick someday. I could easily see him going in the 2nd or 3rd round of the NFL Draft in a few years. For now I'm just going to sit
back and enjoy seeing him tear it up at the NCAA Level.

Lot of hope riding on Will. We cannot afford a situation were when McCaffrey is retired, we are 30 years waiting on the next star.

We need guys to come through some how and add to the numbers during the same era.
