Yep I agree with all of that, the media hyped up Spencer Rattler and Malik Willis like no other before the season and they’re both falling fast. Rattler will stay and transfer but some dumbass team will probably take Willis in round 2 or late in round 1. I don’t see any way Pickett isn’t the 1st QB selected, Matt Corral is creeping up on that #1 spot with Carson Strong in the top 5 as well.
I like the Derek Carr comparison, both about the same size with athleticism but not the kind that jumps out. Both are decisive and and don’t force unnecessary deep balls, good at carving up a D all the way down the field on nice short-intermediate throws. I watched the Pitt game the other day and man when he throws the ball that thing is pretty.
Rattler seems like an entitled turd. I am glad to see him limp out of Oklahoma - who knows what other school will try to sign him - probably Tennessee with their cuck head coach Heupel. Willis is media hype - his second half of the season so far has not been impressive but my guess is some team will waste a 1st round pick on him just like the 49ers did for Lance.
Corral is interesting - plays more physical this year but his a talented passer in his own right, he needs to cut down on the physical running and focus more on his passing game - the arm talent is there.
Strong has been impressive in every game I've watch - he throws a great deep ball but also the zip on out routes, flat routes and those WR screens - he gets the ball their in a hurry. Hopefully his knee checks out ok - that's my only worry with him. I believe the Vikings were scouting him a few weeks ago. Could be a solid replacement for Cousins a few years down the road. Out of all the pre-season QBs that were discussed only Strong has come out and exceeded expectations.
Looking ahead to today's games:
Alabama schedules a cupcake in week 11 - they won't be criticized
Michigan - PSU - PSU has really fallen off since the Iowa loss. Will Franklin be jumping ship this year?
Oklahoma - Baylor - Don't care for either quota led team but if the Bears win this one that will knock Oklahoma out of the CFB rankings.
Northwestern - Wisconsin - the Badgers buzz saw defense will probably embarrass the Wildcats who have yet to find their passing game this season. Maybe Mertz takes another small step in the right direction with his development.
Georgia - Tennessee - UGA is CF's SEC team this year just due to Bowers and McConkey. The Volunteers led by caste cuck Heupel are everything wrong with college football.
Purdue - Ohio St - Purdue should have confidence coming into this game verse Ohio St. A win by the Boilermakers will remove Ohio State from the CFB playoff. Purdue's QB is better than Ohio State's quota. Hopefully Horvath and Anthrop both play well today and Karaliftis harasses the Ohio St quota.
Minnesota - Iowa - Iowa replaces Petras with Padilla. Hopefully that helps the offense . Jones, Ragaini and La Porta should all be featured more. Iowa's defense remains one of the top in the country. It sounds like Riley Moss is returning today as well.
Miami - FSU - Just interested in Tyler Van Dyke who is the story no one is talking about. Comes in and replaces the overrated quota who was supposed to win a heisman and bring the Hurricanes back to championship contetion. The quota failed and Van Dyke has come in and been true QB - he's only a freshman so he development will be something to track.
Boston College - Ga Tech - Jurkovec surprised with a return last week. Let's hope his hand is a little better and he is throwing more than running this week.
Washtigton St - Oregon - Hopefully Borghi has a big game against the Ducks to boost his draft stock. It would be nice to see him hit 1k total yards this year - he currently has 571 rushing yards/107 receiving with three games left. Oregon also does not belong in the top 4 or College Football conversation.
