UL-Lafayette WR Peter LeBlanc(6'-2" 194) nice 1st half 5 receptions for 66 yards. Not sure WHY he did not get credit for 9 yard run on reverse? Unless it was a quick shuffle pass catch? Announcer said "LeBlanc may be the fastest WR on the team"; we already knew this on CF....He's a legit outside vertical threat!

Yes indeed Rocky B!
Ex Walk-on RB Tucker Gregg (5'-10" 220) makes Georgia State must see TV! Have to wonder how many yards he makes on some of the read options where the QB keeps the ball; get the feeling Gregg could bust a long run at any time!

Well said Carolina Speed!

Finally! Leblanc has been severely underutilized this season.

Gregg off to a good start.... 8-45, early in the 2nd quarter.
late in the third quarter, Gregg has only carried the ball twice more ... as far as his “not being the most explosive” nonsense, Gregg had the TWO longest runs from scrimmage for Georgia State last year. if that doesn’t mean he’s explosive, then why does the word mean (other than black, I mean)?

************

Peter LeBlanc has been the best offensive player for Louisiana. he’s been targeted 10 times by his scattershot black quarterback and caught 9 balls for 118 yards and 1 touchdown. he hasn’t done much after the catch, but he’s shown tremendous ability to create separation and catch the ball. he needs to get in the weight room, though. dude is SKINNY!

LeBlanc with a TD now, 9-118-1 at the start of the 4th. Great game for him, should get some more catches in the last quarter as they try to come back from being down 10-0.

Looking ahead to this weekend:

Missouri - UGA - With the Tom Iron rule playing out once again for UGA they go into this game with a distraction. Missouri has not been great this year so UGA should win this game. Perhaps they will get JT Daniels eased back into action. McConkey and Bowers would both benefit from the talented Daniels under center.

Ohio St vs Nebraska - Might be the final game for Scott Frost. Maybe Martinez actually doesn't turn the ball over but it also may be both Frost and Martinez's last stand.

Wake Forest - UNC - Nice QB matchup with Hartman (Heisman contender) going up against Howell. This game will be a good test to see if Wake Forest is for real - I expect a shootout.

Liberty - Ole Miss - Corral vs every draft dweebs favorite quota. Hopefully the Ole Miss defense actually shows up.

Pittsburgh vs Duke - Pickett should have another monster game. The loss last week knocks him out of the Heisman but his draft stock is still rising.

Ga Tech vs Miami - I don't care much about this game outside monitoring Tyler Van Dyke as he likely cements himself as the starting QB for Miami moving forward.

Michigan St vs Purdue - Big game for Sparty. Purdue killed Iowa's chances in the CFB. Horvath and Anthrop will hopefully get more touches in this game as well.

Iowa vs Northwestern - Hopefully Riley Moss returns this week. A winnable game for the Hawkeyes who can certainly finish with 10 wins with a manageable back end of the schedule.

“It’s doubtful that Riley Moss and Terry Roberts will be able to go this week,” Ferentz told reporters. “They haven’t been able to go full speed yet.”

That was from two days ago....Hopefully, things have changed

despite Gregg literally carrying them to the go-ahead score with 5:25 left in the game (he carried the ball 13 times on the 16-play drive), he wasn’t even on the field when Georgia State took possession for what ended up being their final time after Louisiana’s answering score to go up 21-17.

seemingly everyone in the stadium knew Gregg was going to get the ball on the drive (GA St didn’t attempt a pass on the drive; their scattershot black quarterback was only 8 of 19 for 98 yards and a score for the night), yet he couldn’t be stopped. he didn’t lose yardage on a single carry despite getting hit in the backfield multiple times. his ability to run between the tackles and through contact seems to be the embodiment of all that coaches insist they want in a running game ... but he’s never been “the guy” for his team. “weird,” huh?

That's disappointing. Thanks for the update.

Stanford blown out 52-7. All those highly rated student affletes doing wonders for David Shaw.

BC QB Phil Jurkovec made a surprise return last night. He was supposed to be out for the season with a hand injury. I watched most of the game, he made a few nice throws but the offense was very run heavy. He did have some nice runs though. Mike Palmer had a fumble recovery that should have been a TD but the play was whistled dead after he recovered the ball. He also had a few nice open field tackles...hopefully he makes it as a late round/UDFA type.

Wow Stanford has fallen off. I haven't paid much attention, but Is Shaw getting heat? Besides us calling him out, haven't seen much media coverage on the guy.

Good to see Jurkovec back.. Agreed on Palmer. Again he should be on scouts radars, but we know how that goes.

I don't think Shaw is getting any sort of negative press yet. Shaw was 4-8 in 2019 and it looks like they may end up with a similar record this year. He has not won a conference title since 2015. Funny to see the decline of the program once the starting demographics trend a certain way.

Last year Utah had freshman safety Nate Ritchie make a big impact. This year they have freshman safety Cole Bishop, against Stanford last night he had 4 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 sack, 1 PD.

Yale is on DirectTV channel 628.
Zane Dudek didn’t start...Not in on the second drive either. Damnit.
Hurt? I’m guessing his draft status has become super minimal.

Enjoy reading y'alls post!

UNC QB Sam Howell grown man 18 yard TD Run @ 220lbs Dynamic former walk-on stud DB Nick Andersen(Wake Forest) was on the wrong end of that collision @ 5'-11" 194lbs

Announcers high on Nebraska stud Line Backers aka snow patrol Reimer(tremendous PASS BREAK -UP like a BIG DB ; Domann & Heinrich

Yeah Rocky B. Had my hopes up after Zane Dudek's Freshman season...not sure he's 100% healthy?

One bright spot for bludgeoned Stanford ....Corner Back #13 Ethan Bonner played plenty! Announcers gave him props good size at the position

Nice to hear Bonner get playing time. I went to bed after the BC - Va Tech game. The silver lining is that it's obvious McKee is a very talented QB to keep Stanford somewhat respectable. They missed him last night.

Ole Miss all over Liberty right now (Ole Miss defense is not some dominant force either). The media's coronated best QB/1st qb taken - quoata malik willis has failed so far in a head to head matchup against another potential 1st rounder Matt Corral. As we saw last year the NFL/Media do not care about level of competition (if you are a black QB) - future bust Trey Lance played one year at FCS NDSU on a stacked team and was coronated as a 1st round pick despite playing one season and then one game last year where he struggled completing 50% of his passes.

I know we are not supposed to denigrate non white athletes but Malik Willis is not an NFL QB. I know I’m stating the obvious.
