Trevor Lawrence (JR) 6'6" 220 Clemson
Will be one of the best QB prospects ever. Has everything you're looking for in a QB from arm strength, accuracy, athleticism, and poise. He has thrown for 6,945 yards and 66 TD's in his career. Last year was able to showcase his wheels as evident by his 67 yard TD run against Ohio State. In my opinion has a chance to be one of the best to ever play.

Sam Ehlinger (SR) 6'3" 230 Texas
Doesn't get as much credit as he deserves. Gets compared to Tebow because of his build and willingness to just run straight through people. But might be a better pure passer. He has thrown for 8,870 yards 68 TD's in his career. Also had 1,530 yards rushing with 25 TD's.

Kyle Trask (SR) 6'5" 239 Florida
Trask is a cool story because he didn't even start in high school. He went to a Florida camp and impressed so much they gave him an offer. He then sat at Florida for 3 years not seeing much action but then their black quarterback got hurt and in comes Trask who once he gets to play it's obvious he's the better player. He has the prototypical size and arm talent to play in the NFL.

Sam Howell (SO) 6'2" 225 North Carolina
ACC rookie of the year. Set the true freshman FBS record with 38 TD passes. He threw for 3,641 yards. He has a cannon and looks like a future first round pick.

Kedon Slovis (SO) 6'2" 200 USC
Pac-12 Offensive freshman of the year. Came in as a true freshman and won the back up job. When starter JT Daniels got hurt he stepped in and didn't look back. In fact played so well Daniels transferred to Georgia. He threw for 3,502 yards and 30 TD's. He has the look of a future star.

Brady White (SR) 6'3" 215 Memphis
Started out at Arizona State and then transferred to Memphis. There was talk he would transfer to FSU with Coach Norvell but he decided to stay. he has thrown for 7,310 yards and 59 TD's in his two seasons at as a starter at Memphis.

Shane Buechele (SR) 6'1" 207 SMU
Started at Texas and then transferred to SMU. He set SMU records for yards (3,929) and TD's (34) in a season. Not the most physically gifted but still damn good and has been productive.

Ian Book (SR) 6'1" 212 Notre Dame
I think he's a little under rated nationally. He has thrown for 6,123 yards and 57 TD's in his career. Has rushed for 1,054 yards and 8 TD's.

Jeff Undercuffler (R.SO) 6'5" 231 Albany
He was a freshman All-American last season. He threw for 3,543 yards and 41 TD's. Set school records for completions, attempts, yards and passing TD's. His 41 passing TD's led the FCS. The NDSU QB is getting a lot of NFL love so should Undercuffler.

Daniel Smith (SR) 6'0" 205 Villanova
Started his career at Campbell and then transferred to Villanova. He threw for 3,062 yards and 30 TD's. He also rushed for 420 yards and 11 TD's. In his two seasons at Campbell he rushed for 1,764 yards and 22 TD's. his passing has improved as he didn't put up great passing numbers at Campbell. Great athlete!

Tyson Bagent (JR) 6'3" 215 Shepherd
He led D2 football in passing yards per game with 362.4! He threw for 4,349 yards and 36 TD's. Has thrown for 7,378 yards and 65 TD's in his career. His father is a world famous arm wrestler Travis Bagent.

Dustin Crum (SR) 6'3" 201 Kent State
A dual threat. He threw 2,622 yards and 20 TD's to only 2 INT's! And added 707 yards rushing with 6 TD's. He was the MVP of the Frisco bowl where he outplayed Jordan Love. I haven't seen a whole lot of love for Crum at the next level, hope he has a great year and gets a chance.
90

Charlie Brewer (SR) 6'1" 206 Baylor
Brewer should be given more credit for helping turn Baylor around and getting his coach an NFL job. He has been a 3 year starter with 7,742 career passing yards and 51 TD's. He also has 885 yards rushing with 18 TD's. From the same high school as Baker Mayfield.

Sean Clifford (R.JR) 6'2" 219 Penn State
Played very well replacing McSorley. threw for 2,653 yards and 23 TD's. Athletic rushed for 402 yards and 5 TD's. Put together another solid year and should be on the NFL radar.

Nice additions had no idea O'Hara was such a beast of a dual threat!

Jack Coan(RSR) 6'3 220 is another QB who can improve his draft stock with a strong SR season. Only 3,000yds passing in his career, 25TD/8INT. Very accurate 68% completion.

Good stuff guys! Ian Book is the qb I’m interested in most this season (if there is a season). Dark horse heisman candidate, great dual threat ability.

A few SEC young guns.

Mac Jones (R.JR) 6'2" 205 Alabama
All signs point to Mac Jones taking over. Although there are some qualms for a 5* quota coming in. Started 4 games last season throwing for 1,503 yards and 14 TD's. Although former Bama QB Greg McElroy has really had nothing good to say about Jones. It's obvious people want him to fail because Alabama is going back to a white QB after a few years of Hurts and Tua.
usatsi_13860932.jpg

Bo Nix (SO) 6'2" 217 Auburn
Was SEC Freshman of the year. Beat out a quota to get the job. His father was a QB at Auburn in the 80's. He has Alabama high school records for total yards and TD's. He threw for 2,542 yards and 16 TD's (Auburn Freshman records). Also added 313 yards rushing with 7 TD's.

Ryan Hilinski (SO) 6'3" 225 South Carolina
He won the back up job as a true freshman and then starter Jake Bentley went down in week 2. He threw for 2,357 yards and 11 TD's. Showed flashes of talent just needs to keep getting better and more consistent.

I think Mac Jones will more than likely be screwed over by Saban. Hope I am wrong because I thought he played pretty well when called upon. TwentyTwo mentioned Myles Brennan - hopefully alot of the offensive concepts that LSU utilized under Joe Brady will continue.

Chris Robison (R.JR) 6'1" 200 Florida Atlantic
4* QB coming out of high school signed with Oklahoma then transferred to FAU after being dismissed from the team. He threw for 3,701 yards and 28 TD's. Has a ton of talent just needs to keep his nose clean.
Home_Page_Cut.jpg

Layne Hatcher (R.SO) 6'0" 210 Arkansas State
Signed with Alabama transferred to Arkansas State. Arkansas high school football’s all-time leader in passing yards (15,483) and touchdowns (185). He was a 3 time state champ in wrestling so you know he's tough! He threw for 2,946 yards and 27 TD's.

Zac Thomas (SR) 6'1" 210 App State
Sun Belt offensive player of the year in 2018. 1st Team All Sun Belt 2019. He has 4,790 career passing yards with 49 TD's. Also has 989 yards rushing with 17 TD's.

Zach Wilson (JR) 6'3" 215 BYU
Nicked up last year he had an up and down season but still managed to throw for 2382 yards with 11 TDs and 9 interceptions. I would be shocked if he doesn't start and word is he had an impressive spring after a diligent offseason workout regiment where he gained 5 pounds of muscle and increased his speed. An exciting athletic QB with a big upside who has shown glimpses but needs more consistency. Doesn't help his coaching staff is unimaginative.

Dylan McCaffrey (JR) 6'5" 220 Michigan
Has a rangy athletic build like his dad, former Denver star WR Ed. Dylan is one of the players I am most anxious to see suit up this season. Has had some injury problems breaking a collarbone a couple of years back and last year got deliberately skulled by a Wisconsin defender. Head injuries are a delicate matter these days but I was pleased to find out his concussion was minor. In limited play last season Dylan was 10-20 for 116 yards and one TD. He gained 67 yards on 13 carries with a TD. An electric and exciting player. Like his dad Ed he is gracefully smooth with nice wheels.

Luke McCaffrey (FR) 6'2" 200 Nebraska
The Nebraska coaching staff feels the ultra athletic Luke resembles Taysom Hill. Currently listed #2 on the QB depth chart I would not be surprised if at some point in the season Luke takes over the reins replacing penciled in starter Martinez who has been pretty much a bust for two seasons. Luke was 9-12 for 142 yards in his redshirt season last year. His wheels were on display when he gained 166 yards on 24 carries. HC Scott Frost recognizes Luke's all around athletic ability and word is he will utilize Luke like Taysom Hill until he becomes a full fledged starter. Whereas Dylan, like brother WR Max, takes after his dad, Luke is built more like Christian who I hear is a pretty good NFL running back. Ha. Talk about an athletic family?

Luke's rocking number 7. Husker fans will hopefully be reminded of Crouch!

My favorite all time Cornhuskers ranked in order. Notice it has been a while since these players left the program. Hopefully the "next" generation is waiting in the wings.

1-QB Eric Crouch 1998-2001

2-OLB Trev Alberts 1990-1993

3-DE Grant Wistrom 1994-1997

In this weird season it is the quarter point for many of the teams in conferences that have started play. White QBs are dominating statistically. Here are the top white QBs in the Top 10 so far by passing yards.

1. Kenny Pickett Pitt 109/181 60.2% 1389 yds 8 TDs 3 INTs 45 rush 119 yds 5 TDs
2. Shane Buechele SMU 96/140 68.6% 1326 yds 10 TDs 2 INTs 17 rush 48 yds 1 TD
3. Chase Brice Duke 103/192 53.6% 1263 yds 5 TDs 8 INTs 40 rush -7 yds 1 TD - A little disappointed he has not played better but he is only a junior in a new system. Will be one to watch for the balance of the season.
4. Zach Wilson BYU 82/101 81.2% 1241 yds 8 TDs 1 INT 23 rush 60 yds 6 TDs - biggest draft stock bump so far this year!
5. Sam Ehlinger Texas 99/162 61.1% 16 TDs 4 INTs 50 rush 242 yds 5 TDs - absurd numbers and with a defense they would be a good team. Ehlinger still gets attacked although he is probably the best QB in the country (the media hates dual threat white QBs)
7. Phil Jurkovec BC 99/152 65.1% 1181 yds 8 TDs 2 INTs 40 rush 2 yds 3 TDs - quickly putting an end to the dark era of QBs at BC
8. K.J. Costello Miss St. 115/174 66.1% 1168 yds 6 TDs 9 INTs 13 rush -38 yds - after his remarkable week 1 performance he has struggled unfortunately.
10. Trevor Lawrence Clemson 84/116 72.4% 1140 yds 10 TDs 0 INTs 22 rush 48 yds 4 TDs
