SamD, Berrios and Hogan.....Let’s crank it up tonight.

Jets defense should know the run is coming and so far Denver is running all over them. That's a trash defensive unit. 10/11 black

Rypien was great at Boise St. Perhaps another Case Keenum type. I do wish Lock did not get injured. I was pretty excited for him this year.

I like him. All time leader in passing yards in MWC. Does stink that Lock is hurt already. Darnold slammed and is now injured. Crazy to think Flacco has 40,000yds!

LOL - that Jets CB looked real athletic right there. Great throw by Rypien.

Chickillo being used at end, his college position. Looks like he finally landed on a team that will give him a genuine opportunity. Maybe he can follow Mike Vrabel's career path, whose talent was also stunted in Pittsburgh.

Rypien has more throwing yards tonight with 5 minutes left in the 2nd quarter than Lamar Jackson had all game on Monday night.

Great seeing Jewell playing - he was step for step with Ballage (how the hell is he still in the league)

Somebody get a gun for Gore, he looks like hobbled horse who needs to be put out of his misery.

Plus my buddy Ballage would get bumped up in the pecking order of JETS running backs.....

Ballage with another blown pass protection resulting in another sack on Darnold. Again how the hell is this guy in the league. Why don't these coaches do more max protect? Why not get a FB back there to do some blocking, even a chip block and run out into the flat for an easy completion? Gase is a dolt.

With a quarter still to play, Jewell has 6 solo tackles, 2 assists, a pass defense and a sack. He's looked darn good in pass coverage too, supposedly his weakness.

Rypien's been really good so far, great accuracy and presence.

A simple chip block could save quite a bit of wear and tear on your qb.

This is why this offense was slow to be adopted by the NFL, empty backfields puts your qb in danger to the damage that it looked like Darnold sustained in the first half.

PS, KUUUUHN was in the league for nearly as long as Gore because he did the little things like pass protect and of course was the goal line vulture for years in GB and later Nawlins.

PS 2 the Jets like all "brilliant" teams and offensive minds don't have a fullback. Arizona is the same thing. I have never liked these offenses because of the imbalance of the offenses.

BB has never abandoned the fullback, because he knows this.
