Merry Christmas all... didn't see a thread on this week yet. Weird to have football on Xmas. Cook once again making Brees look bad messing up on a route allowing a defender to undercut and pick Brees off. Several nice plays by Hill so far

Wouldn't mind the Saints losing though (I'm a Packers fan) :p
 
Kamara's first TD was a 40 yard run early in the first quarter. As Jolly Troy Aikman noted, the only Viking defender who had a shot at him was safety Anthony Harris, who was badly beaten. But of course the other safety, Harrison Smith, was the one given the perp shot. Shortly after that, Aikman was talking about how bad the Minnesota defense is, and while he was talking again Smith, the best player on the defense, was given the perp shot. And so it goes. . . and goes. . . and goes. . .
 
And it happened again after Kamara's fourth TD -- Harris makes a laughable attempt at a "tackle," which Aikman duly notes, while the producer orders a shot of Smith, who once again wasn't involved in the play.
 
Cousins once again not throwing to Thielen like he used to. Adam is 5/67 but has been open on a number of plays while Cousins instead concentrates on "spreading the ball around."
 
Trubisky has a career 28-20 W/L record - Watson has a 28-23 W/L record. Rooting for Mitch to close out the season with two more wins. Just goes to show what the media is doing to tear down and attack white QBs.
 
And Cousins throws the TD to the black TE - another of the new generation of blocking optional black TEs.
 
Vikings with a disappointing season. I believe Cousins is in the third and final year of his deal. I think the smart money would be on the Vikings signing him to another 3 year deal but who knows what will happen. The Vikings defense has been in the bottom third of the league this year but no doubt it will be Cousins who bears the blame for this season. It's an all out assault on white QBs.
 
Thielen had 8 rec 97 yds and 1 TD. He will need a huge game in Week 17 to hit the 1000 yard receiving mark but his TD total is great.
 
Amazing to me that Thielan wasn’t passed to more this year. How many games have we seen where he gets only a few targets? He is a big-time player and should have gotten a lot more looks.
 
On three different occasions I saw Thielen express frustration on the field when he was wide open and Cousins didn't throw to him. Nothing diva like, but definitely exasperation, understandably so. He could have had a huge game and the Vikings might have been able to win if Cousins had looked his way as the first or second option on passing plays instead of not looking his way at all on a number of them.

Thielen had to go through a long racial apprenticeship yet is still at his peak and should be treated as such. The rookie Jefferson is obviously very talented but so is Adam. They should be used as a one-two punch instead of Cousins trying to spread it around so much.
 
Exactly right Don. So many times I see QBs try to spread the ball because for some reason they or the Off. Coordinator thinks they have to. When Cousins first came to Minnesota he looked great and only had one main target - Thielen. Thielen was on a historic run and then the offense changed inexplicably and started becoming run orientated as well as spreading the ball when they did pass. Now we often see Cousins hang on to the ball way too long as he appears out of synch with merry go round of targets. Frankly Cousins suffers from Jeff George syndrome. He throws a lot of pretty passes but he is just not a clutch savvy player who is still better than 1/2 the quarterbacks out there. That Viking defense is terrible. This was the only full Viking game I have watched this year and will be the last - of the 2020 Vikings anyway. Might rewatch a Viking game from the good old days of the 70's.
 
NFL with three games today. It gets somewhat annoying with the NFL playing games all days of the week.

Bucs vs Lions @ 1PM
49ers vs Cardinals @4:30PM
Dolphins vs Raiders @ 8:15 PM

Brady can clinch a playoff spot with a win today - hopefully Scotty Miller is involved.

I'd love to see the 49ers upset the Cardinals. Glad to see Beathard get another shot at the starting job.

Going for the Raiders as long as Carr is starting. If not it will be a poly QB bowl love fest.
 
Defense optional for that Saints vs Vikings Game. LOL

Haha ESPN just dropped an article stating Mariotta and Tua are breaking barriers for Poly players playing taboo positions.

No way! That doesn't aid the Great Replacement. They had to wait til week 13 to write the article to include Mariotta lol . I'm not going to bother to link it but it's up on ESPN if anyone cares enough.

The Pro Bowl is a joke - Engram getting an invite is proof. Amazing how these black TEs who cannot block to save their life are viewed as elite.

Good call on the The Great Replacement regarding the poly QBs and a still mostly white position. One of the authors of that article's last name ends in stein ;)
