Since 2006 Marshall has started 5, 7, 5, 5, 4, 6, 5 , 4, 6, 6, 6, 7, 6 and 4 white players. They look to start 6 in 2020.

Marshall continues recruiting heavily from out of state ignoring in state talent.

Players to look out for are QB Luke Zban, TE Garet Morrell, DE Owen Porter, LB Domenick Murphy.

7 out of 9 recruits plus one transfer are white for 2021. Anomaly or positive change occurring. Is Doc Holliday (seriously) a caste cuck?

Im too lazy to check but if they are almost all O-Line and a Punter the answer is yes.

Thats strange to change up your style after 10 years of not being able to recruit whites in West Virginia. Better late than never, it will be interesting to see how many see the field. They got a good QB to build around though.

Agreed @DWF Upside ! Better late than never is right. There is a ton of under appreciated talent in WV, KY, NC, and TN. Should be easy pickings for a team to actually think outside of The Caste Box.

BTW they did sign a punter

Marshall has not renewed the contract of HC Doc Holliday, according to Stadium's Brett McMurphy.
Holliday spent 11 seasons at Marshall, posting an overall record of 85 wins and 54 defeats while going 55-30 against Conference USA. During those years the Thundering Herd won at least a share of the East Division title three times (2013, 2014 and 2020), with the 2014 team winning the C-USA title. Holliday also boasted a 5-2 record in bowl games, but Marshall has dropped the last two. Despite being named this season's Conference USA Coach of the Year, Holliday is done after 11 seasons at Marshall.

Interesting choice by Marshall. Had some success there, wasn't the fairest coach but his latest class had some promise.
