Since 2005, the Seminoles have started 6, 6, 4, 6, 6, 4, 4, 3, 2, 2, 2 3, 5 3 and 1 white players. In 2020 they are perfect caste with 0 white players. Might as well move to the SWAC.

In an attempt to be optimistic QB Chubba Purdy may be the future of the team - the younger brother of Brock Purdy. He broke his collarbone during practice in August. Hopefully he breaks what seems like a decade long black quarterback streak under Bimbo Fisher, Willie Taggart and now Mike Norvell. Pretty sure the last white QB to play for FSU was Christian Ponder during the 2010 season.

Players to watch:
QB Tate Rodemaker, TE Preston Daniel, TE Wyatt Rector, C Andrew Boselli, DE Josh Griffis

Offense
None

Defense
None

Congrats to FSU on fighting systematic racism with their black power team!

That is ridiculous. I checked out their 'Warchant' forum today to see if anyone commented on this. Crickets

I hate FSU - always have even as a kid. But I also root for and support white QBs so hopefully Purdy gets some starts this year and becomes the estasblished starter for the next few seasons before becoming a 1st round pick.

Florida State freshman QB Chubba Purdy (shoulder) has been added to the depth chart ahead of Saturday's game vs. Jacksonville State.

Purdy (6'2/212), who was in the mix for the starting job during fall camp, injured his shoulder and ultimately had to undergo surgery. The four-star prospect returned to practice last week, and now he's listed third on the depth chart (sharing the spot with Tate Rodemaker) behind starter James Blackman and backup Jordan Travis. Purdy continues to make progress in his recovery, but that doesn't mean he'll be available for this weekend's game.

Extremely rare pale face sighting on FSU defense. Josh Griffis looks like he's getting some legit playing time as a true freshman, had three tackles in the game against Notre Dame.

Good news was worried when he chose them.
