Since 2005, the Rams have started 15, 16, 17, 15, 14, 13, 12, 8, 8, 9, 7, 5, and 8 whites. I consider this team to be one of the poster children that has been ravaged by the caste system after Sonny Lubick left a little over a decade ago. In came coach after coach that ate away at this once caste favorite. If you look at the teams that are the Caste Football stalwarts, Iowa, Air Force, Ohio, and Kansas State, the one common denominator is the long tenured coaches of Kirk Ferentz, Troy Calhoun, Frank Solich and the recently departed Bill Snyder who all have been tenured a few years before the caste system went full throttle and 50%+ white teams started dropping like flies.
The new coach in line is Steve Addazio, which oddly enough was recommended and suggested by caste clown Urban Meyer. Addazio led a consistently mediocre BC team that consistently started a black quarterback but always had double digit starters (yes there is a quota currently listed as the backup if you were wondering – recruited by Addazio himself from Temple). Interested to see what happens here in the coming years.
The school is also now led by a recently installed bimbo Joyce McConnell who is ardently pro BLM LGBT etc. Through her short tenure at the university she has spent more time overseeing fake hate crimes against the fragile black student population than running the university. The only part of white culture she seems to like is the tuition money and donations.
This year the Rams are preliminarily expected to start about 7 with 2 on a short leash with the “OR” designation below them.
The returning starting QB is Nebraska transfer Patrick O’Brien who was, frankly, a bit pedestrian in 11 games last year just compiling 2,800 yards, 13 TD 7 INT. Hopefully he can improve upon that in his final season.
The star and captain of the team is local product Trey McBride who had a breakout 2019 campaign with 45 receptions, 560 yards and 4 TDs. He was planning on entering the transfer portal until the Mountain West finally came around to their senses and decided to have the 2020 campaign
Offense
Patrick O’Brien – QB (in a battle for position)
Cam Reddy – C (grad transfer - BC - Adazzio)
Adam Korutz – RG (grad transfer BC - Adazzio)
Trey McBride - TE
Defense
Quinn Brinnon - S (in a battle for position)
Scott Patchan - DE
Toby McBride - DL
Two Deeps
Dirk Nelson – OL, Scott Brooks – OL, Brian Polendey – TE, Rushton Roberts – DL
