Backward pass from Bo Nix that didn't count cost Hogs' show, but they earn the respect.
Watched game highlights and found one thing is pretty interesting: Arkansas team with a white CB.

Hudson Clark earns his first start for Hogs.

Clark is freshman, a pure CB in high school, played some snaps last week, I found this kid on the highlight .
Check the vid and stats, I believe he played quite a long time on the pitch.
You don't see that skin often on that position.

A white CB in SEC? This is cool...

He had a nice pass break up towards the end....
Hopefully he earned the spot and didn’t get thrusted due to an injury
Good find.

Not sure what happened to Whittmore for Florida? He had no stats, and did not see him out there at all.

Always interesting and entertaining at least.

Mississippi State HC Mike Leach said he may need to "purge" the roster and "figure out who really wants to be here" following Saturday's brutal 24-2 loss to Kentucky.

It is one thing to be frustrated as a coach after your team throws six interceptions and loses to Kentucky. It is another to outright say you want to purge the roster in the middle of the season. "We're going to have to check some of our group and figure out who really wants to play here . . . because any malcontents, we're going to have to purge a couple of those." Whether or not Leach will actually force players off the team is to be seen, as opposed to this just being a scare tactic, but it's clear the HC's plan for the season is no longer on track despite the early upset over LSU.

Instill some discipline and the purge will happen naturally.

Not sure. Hopefully Whittemore gets more playing time next game.

Edit- Scout.com national recruiting analyst Greg Biggins said in 2017 in reference to Chad Hansen:
"I honestly think it’s harder for a white wide receiver than it is a black quarterback to get recruited at a high level in this day and age," Biggins said.

If Gunner Romney can stay healthy and keep his form up he should finish within the top 5 receivers. Fellow BYU receiver Dax Milne has 366 yards.

Some ****** low tier starting D linemen at Nevada just got busted and sentenced to prison for child sex trafficking. Amazing. I’m sure his character flaws were on full display but they didn’t care. Pray for the kids and hope a white athlete is next man up

Thanks for the always great round up TwentyTwo. Good to see WR Bobo of mostly caste Duke get involved.

We should hear about Chapman's injury status some time today so I will post the news the minute I hear something. Just looking at the play I don't think it was an ACL tear but who knows.

Going into the season I think we all had great hope for sophomore Taysom Hill types Jake Smith, John Rhys Plumlee and even Slade Bolden. And nothing has gone right. Jake has missed most of the season and got screwed out of his one chunk play in the game he played. Bolden has only been a special teams fetch and Plumlee was beaten out for the starting QB job. Texas needs Jake out there.

But sadly in the case of both Bolden and Plumlee the Alabama and Ole Miss offenses don't actually need them right now. Both offenses have been scoring a lot of points. Alabama has good receivers ahead of Bolden and Ole Miss has a lot of talent at RB and their wide receivers have been putting up big numbers. The only option we have now is to be patient as bad as that sounds. We will have to see about Bolden. But in the case of Plumlee remember I think he committed to Georgia first then changed his mind later. Plumlee would have been better off going to say the Ivy League. He had the grades. Unlike at a Power 5 school where the competition is fierce he would have been assured a starting role and would have had four years to hone his craft at QB. Remember Ryan Fitzpatrick went to Harvard and even though he barely got drafted he is easily the third best QB in the 2005 draft behind Rodgers and Alex Smith. What a career Ryan has had! Too often the NFL ignores Ivy talent because they write off the league as being too white. Jerks.

So why didn't the super smart Plumlee go Ivy? One word. Baseball. He wanted to go to a power baseball school thinking he might have a chance at the big leagues down the road. For such a smart young man that was foolish thinking. And look at how it has cost him.

Like I said it is crushing to see these obvious talents waste away but sometimes things have a way of working out so I am going to try to become more patient about them especially Plumlee. I have anguished over the situation enough now and it is time to just step back and relax for a second.

I admit it. I get extremely upset with big injuries to white stars. When there are so few white skill players out there every time one goes down it is devastating. I don't know the extent of WR Caleb Chapman's knee injury but it was just reported that he is out for the season.

An emerging young white WR is now wiped off the map. In a conference like the SEC where there are what maybe two or three part time white receivers left. It saves me the trouble of watching anymore A & M games to look on the bright side.

Life sucks and that's putting a good spin on things.

It's sucks that his momentum was killed just as he broke out but I think we can remain optimistic for his long term prospects.

TJ Watt tore the acl in each knee before his college career even got really going and he's ended up as one of the finest players of his generation. So lets keep our fingers crossed and hope he can come back next year even better.

The black quarterback loses his best weapon which will hurt his draft stock. Next year hopefully Chapman will be back with a white QB throwing him the ball.

Helluva play to get injured on for Chapman! Looked like a gazelle out there before, getting his Jordy Nelson on.
