Royally pissed Iowa lost. I think of them as the CF mascot team. But I am pleased James Franklin and his caste iron defense lost to mediocre Indiana. But that doesn't make up for the Iowa loss. Probably bench CB Moss now that they lost knowing how the system works?

I was hoping PSU would win. Indiana is worse from a caste perspective. Peyton Ramsey outperforming the black quarterback the caste head coach for Indiana picked over him so far. Hopefully Michigan loses tonight.

On the other hand Penn State lost to Indiana, which should move BYU up the rankings.

Horvath 19 carries 118 yards

Check out this article on Horvath before the season started. He is the king of the weight room!

Northwestern looks great tonight - total opposite of their 2019 disaster of a season. The younger Tagiolova doesn't look like much - considering he red-shirted last year and should of had some time to develop at Alabama.

Just saw the highlights of Skowornek's two TDs - getting flashbacks of the Shark...pretty awesome.

He should be ok, watching some of the game it was the opposing afflete cornerback getting shown up all game. He gave up the final touchdown too, which put Iowa behind.

I am hoping Starkel and Gaither can build a solid rapport. Would be great to see Gaither have a big season and get some draft buzz.

If Luke McCaffrey somehow ended up as a RB I wouldn’t even be mad because I can see him getting respect just because of Christian and the name.

It looks like SMU is going to lose to Cinncinati. It's sad as they had very little running game tonight and that helped to decide the game. Where is TJ McDaniel when you need him?

Ulysses Bentley IV had 14 rushes for 35 yards. How can that be with those magical hips and that fast twitch. The annoucers have told us every week.

On the bright side Tyler Lavine is now getting alot more carries and in the 4th quarter is up to
8 carries for 30 yards. So Lavine is about 4 yards per carry and hopefully he will play more going forward. They really missed TJ McDaniel tonight and will all season long.

On the bright side BYU is up by four touchdowns and most likely headed for another big win. Dax Milne has 4 catches for 89 yards and a touchdown at halftime.

BYU WR Romney must be out due to a hamstring.

Not sure what happened to AF RB Remsberg? Just has a few carries and isn't playing now.

But San Jose St. WR Gaither is at around 110 yards on 6 or 7 catches.

Dominant display by BYU. Even the punter (Ryan Rehkow) got in on the action with a 49 yard rush off a fake punt.

WR Skrownek for Notre Dame is amazing. Such a spectacular combo of size and speed. I had to rewatch his big plays because it looked like a video game :)

Awesome, looks like it was a solid day in the college ranks! Missed BYU pkay again as they are always on so late but I’m sure someone has already put the highlights up

Excellent wrap TwentyTwo. Several very nice bright spots.

I have a few minor add on stuff. Before that two of the biggest disappointments of the day for me was the crushing Iowa loss and Texas WR Jake Smith still stuck in the mud with only a short gain catch. And he played a lot of snaps. Nice to see Cincy WR Pierce back but he did little but he gets a pass since he just came back from a knee injury. And poor UTC WR and NFL hopeful Bryce Nunnelly had a poor game in his one and only game this season. He won't get drafted. His only hope is to have a big pro day and latch on as a free agent.

Two huge upsets in the Big Ten. The biggest being Penn State who outplayed Indiana but managed to lose. Indiana junior firecracker LB Micah McFadden had 11 tackles and a TFL. All solo! Rutgers behind QB Noah Vedral stunned Michigan State. Vedral scored on a nifty 24 yard TD and had a 18-29-169-1 stat line. Teammate DE Trevedov had 2 TFLs.

In the Iowa loss Riley Moss had 7 tackles. Sometimes when you see a CB with a lot of tackles it might not be a good thing. Ha. But from what I am hearing here at CF he played well. That is important. S J Koerner led the team with 13 tackles and 1 TFL. LB Niemann was second with 8. Iowa plays NW and their snow patrol ( who shut down MD) next week in a game on national TV.

Also some fine LB play in the Ohio State- Nebraska battle. Will Honas and J Domann had some big flash plays for Nebraska and Pete Werner and Borland led Ohio State in tackles. Look for these dynamic duos to shine all year long.

Other white DBs had big days. Mentioned above freshman Wake S Nick Anderson not only led his team in tackles with 11 in another big win he had three picks. But junior S Ross Elder of K State is having a big year too as they wiped out pathetic Kansas. He was terrific yesterday.

Zayne Anderson is the main S at BYU and he is very athletic. When he leaves look for Hayden Livingston #28 to move right in. I caught his mop duty last night . Big wheels. Sophomore LB Max Tooley had a big night.

Plumlee watch! He started well with a 37 yard run and was sitting at a 5-50 stat line at half. But ended up with some losses so his final stat line read 8-48. And he threw one 7 yard pass.

NC State LB Payton Wilson coming off a huge game was limping around against rival NC. He still finished with 9 tackles and 1 TFL but State played poorly.

Other stats of possible interest:

Iowa sophomore WR N Ragaini 4-61

NC State junior Thayer Thomas 3-49

Miami junior TE Will Mallory 2-52

I watched quite a bit of the Iowa game - I don't think we have to worry about Moss losing his job. He wasn't targeted on any long balls and was a sure tackler. Horvath really impressed me - excited about his prospects this season as Purdue's primary RB. Aiden O'Connell also played well - Purdue is a team I can root for this year. Their DE Karaftilis is a future 1st round draft pick as well.

I agree - I'd be all for LMC making the transition to RB. I do feel that Frost needs to make changes at the QB position though - Martinez has not lived up to the billing. LMC is a dynamic playmaker. I have to wonder what Dylan is thinking, where will he transfer to? A McCaffrey backfield at Nebraska would be pretty awesome and help the Huskers get back to national prominence.
