Only 26 bowls this year down from 41 scheduled and it still feels like 8 too many. 18-20 I think would be a sweet spot to cover the AP Top 25 plus the top 2 or so from each G5 conference

75% of these matchups are putrid. How can anyone get excited about some of these. 2-8 SC getting a game? Is that a typo, lol. I assume that due to Covid they just put in any team willing to play?

It sounds like it has to do with contractual obligations with the bowls. The bowls can’t take other schools until they reach out to the SEC, regardless of record. A perfect storm of all the remaining bowl being in the south (where restrictions are the most lax), the sub 500 SEC teams not having the decency to bow out gracefully (“we have covid issues”) and all the bowls having sizable payouts compared to other bowls

oddly enough these teams are really no worse off than prior years. They just didn’t have the luxury of having 3 fcs cupcakes to give the illusion of being a decent 6-6 or 7-5 team

Yep this year every team was made bowl eligible. It’s a joke just like the “pandemic”. Let’s not forget how the rules were completely bent for Ohio state to get a college football playoff spot yet no one is up in arms. I have no issue with ND in the final 4 as they played a full schedule and their only loss was to Clemson in the ACC championship game.

Carson Strong with a great start at the spud bowl. 9/9 and 3 TDs

He should be firmly on the NFL's radar for next season. He was pretty dominant this year, better than Jordan Love who also played in the same conference.

Gasparilla bowl cancelled because South Carolina had covid concerns. They should of cancelled it on the basis that they were 2-8 and undeserving of a bowl invite but that would of been too principled a reason so let's blame Covid instead.

finished with 5 TD 22/28 and 271! Hopefully this turns some heads heading into his junior year! Thought he’d get a little more buzz nationally but almost nothing

Yea maybe if he spends time in a tanning booth he will get more recognition ;)

We can only hope next season he enters with some positive "buzz".

Looking forward to Zach Wilson and BYU!

LOL afflete WR for UCF is wide open and drops a sure pass for a TD...dat upside

Zach Wilson lighting up UCF!

330 yards passing 3 pass TD and 2 Rush TD in the first half
Yes indeed! BYU is as fun to watch as any! Razzle Dazzle Zach Wilson even caught a pass himself!

ESPN flashes New Draft QB Rankings that have changed...Zach Wilson @ #3.....Mac Jones @ #4 ........North Dakota St QB Trey Lance once 3rd on list...has now dropped to 5th. We called it much sooner!

Yeah Leonardfan was expecting more from UCF...Can't be dropping wide open TD passes vs this high octane offense!

Great game by Wilson. I am hoping he declares for the draft. It's obvious that he has nothing left to prove and BYU would not be invited to the CFB playoff even if they went undefeated. Also, if Milne is getting positive feedback he should go ahead and declare as well.

Georgia St is playing Western Ky on espn.....
I haven’t seen Tucker Gregg play yet.....
This will be an opportunity.....
It’s a black quarterback fest, so it looks like I’ll record the game and fast forward through all of the mud......

Tucker just got 13 yards on his first carry...(he is starting)

I’d love to see them all return.....With McChesney, at least in a back up role, BYU will be really fun to watch.....often times kids come out too early and hardly play.....I want to see these kids play and kick ass....,

I will second that opinion. If all of these kids return to BYU they will be a top 10 team to start the year and have a good chance of making the playoff for the national championship.

Coastal Carolina DB Brayden Matts with the INT. Needed that w Liberty up 14 - 0

UL-Lafayette WR Jack LeBlanc had a 48 yard catch called back because of penalty.

Walk on RB Tucker Gregg fished w 8 carries for 27 yards for Georgia State

Coastal Carolina WR Greg Latushko finished off the season with a 2 TD performance last night.

That stinks one if the few Bowl Games I cared to watch .

Music city bowl cancelled so it looks like the CF favorite and 15th ranked Hawkeyes’ season is over
Lol. Because of the little Homeland Security bombing drill? Where they cleared the area with loud speaker announcements, then pushed the absurd narrative that the bomber was upset about 5g technology...

If anyone has off tomorrow keep me posted on The Wisconsin game. Noon start time sucks, I'll be at work.

Haha pretty much agreed.

Miami QB King blew out his knee.

King is returning to Miami next year so no need to worry because next year "Will be da return of da U" (just like every subsequent year in the past decade plus has been labeled)
