Since ’05, Boston College has started 10, 12, 13, 12, 13, 12, 11, 14 11 13, 13, 13, 10, 12 AND 10 Whites. In 2020 they are projected to start an all time low of 7.

New head coach is Jeff Hafley who comes over after serving as the DC for Ohio St. Time will tell what he does in terms of recruiting. He is currently inheriting former caste clown Steve Addazio's team. One bright spot is that the revolving door at the QB position with different mediocre black quarterbacks is done. BC secured a big time transfer in Phil Jurkovec from Notre Dame. He may give BC their best option under center since Matt Ryan. He will be one to watch for sure. Great to see a big time recruit like this land on his feet after a transfer.

Players to watch for include TE Joey Luchetti, LB Vinny DePalma, LB Joseph Sparacio, DB Steve Lubischer.

Offense
QB - Phil Jurkovec
TE - Hunter Long
RT - Ben Petrula
C - Alec Lindstrom
LT - Tyler Vrabel

Defense
Hybrid - Connor Grieco
FS Mike Palmer

Nice write up. I can tell BC is at an all time low when they don't even have a pale face in front 7!

Glad to see Jurkovec land on his feet.

Grieco and Palmer at least make the Defense interesting.

Thanks for the write up Leonardfan. I must say I am surprised by the sparse outlay. As indicated this is an all time low for BC. Too bad. In general I have been a steady fan of the program. They aren't really on say Iowa's level ( who is?) but on average their caste gauge has been better than average. Hopefully this is just a blip on the radar?

I agree with Bucky though at least a couple of defenders of interest.

Let's hope so. BC's new coach is the one who allowed Tuf Borland and Pete Werner develop into very good players on the OSU defense.
