Since 2005, Wyoming has started 15, 17, 14, 16, 15, 13, 14, 12, 11, 13, 11, 15 and 9 whites. Last year 10.....
This Season = only 8 ...Used to be a favorable Caste team; not trending that way now.

Last season star DB Andrew Wingard SURPRISINGLY went Undrafted; now Rookie Free Agent/NFL Jaguars.... was easily as good as Marcus Epps (Selected in 6th Round/Vikings)....not enough melanin i guess?

It would seem the Defense would start at least 5 white players rivaling the likes of Iowa or Wisconsin?

Looks like last year's Starting QB Tyler Vander Waal lost his job to Sean Chambers?
Keep an eye on 6'-5" Freshman QB Levi Williams who had some impressive stats in 6A Texas HS Football

Ayden Eberhardt listed as a Starter at "X" WR position according to team website. But listed 2nd team on a few publications

2nd Team....FB Jeff Burroughs; TE Nate Weinman
Other to Watch for ; WR Gunner Gentry (older brother Tanner/NFL Bears); WR Wyatt Wieland

OFFENSE (6)
WR - Ayden Eberhart
TE - Josh Harshman
LT - Alonzo Velasquez (part hispanic from Wisconsin)
LG - Zach Watts
C - Keegan Cryder
RT - Rudy Stofer

DEFENSE (2)
DE - Garrett Crall
ILB - Logan Wilson

2nd Team ...LB Chad Muma; LB Ben Wisdorf
Cowboys implement a 4 - 2 - 5 ....No DB's on the 2 Deep....one poly starting

ILB -Logan Wilson should get a chance in the NFL!

Not on 2 Deep; maybe they will break thru on Special Teams?? BOTH RS Fr....CB's Bryce Levinson & Blake Harrington; FS Taylor Dodd??

Thanks TwentyTwo. Nice review.

Yes a mixed bag but enough crumbs to at least cause some hope. The WR position looks like it could blossom nicely if things fall in place. Kind of like Texas Tech ( to a lesser extent) where a few white WRs are just bubbling under the starters.

Wyoming like so many teams is in flux this year could land anywhere on the caste meter. As the season progresses we will have a better feel as to which direction some of these teams are heading when it comes to their racial outlay.

I do like their two defensive starters Wilson and Crall.

State sponsored groveling for decades or centuries old ‘injustices’ is definitely en vogue. And a week long ‘commemorative week’ to booy

(CNN) — Nearly 50 years ago, in 1969, 14 black football players at the University of Wyoming wanted to protest a racist policy.

The team was set to play Brigham Young University, a university affiliated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which at the time had a policy prohibiting black people from becoming priests. Students were planning a protest outside the football stadium, and the players wanted to wear black armbands during the game in support.

When the players approached their coach to ask for permission, they were immediately kicked off the team.

The campus fell into disarray -- there were protests calling for the reinstatement of the players, and the situation garnered national attention. The team, though it beat BYU 40-7, lost its last four games of the season and went 1-9 the next season. Though three of the players came back to play for the team in 1970, three others transferred to all-black schools. Two eventually went on to play in the NFL.

None of them ever received a public apology. Until Friday.

The University of Wyoming held a commemorative week in honor of the 14 players, dubbed the "Black 14," this year, marking the 50th anniversary of the incident. The week, attended by eight of the 11 living players, culminated in a dinner Friday, when the university's athletic director Tom Burman read from an official apology letter from the school.
The letter applauds the former students for their actions and says they were "deprived" of their college experiences because of events that weren't their fault
.

"To have your collegiate careers derailed as both students and athletes is a tragedy," it says.
It concludes with the following: "Please accept this sincere apology from the University of Wyoming for the unfair way you were treated and for the hardships that treatment created for you. We want to welcome you home as valued members of this institution, and hope you accept our old Wyoming saying, 'Once a Cowboy, always a Cowboy.'"

Former University of Wyoming football player Ted Williams grips the hand of athletic director Tom Burman after Williams and the rest of the "Black 14" received a formal apology from the university.

"It was extremely emotional," Kevin McKinney, a senior associate athletic director at Wyoming who helped organize the weeklong event, told CNN. "I can only imagine that was something they wanted to hear, and they hadn't heard that for 50 years from the school."

Lionel Grimes, a member of the Black 14, called it "mind-boggling."

"I never thought I'd see that happen at the University of Wyoming," he told local media.
"That's all I ever wanted was an apology," Tony Gibson, another member, said. "That's it."
It 'should've been done 20 years ago'
The Black 14 spent their week meeting with students and athletes at the university. They spoke in classrooms and in a panel discussion about First Amendment rights and constitutional issues.

McKinney called the support from students "outstanding."

"The students didn't know anything about it," he said. "(They) were very interested in it. They wanted to hear the story."

McKinney continued, "Honestly, (the commemoration and apology) should've been done 20 years ago, or longer."

Earlier Friday, the university unveiled a plaqueat the football stadium honoring the players.
The next day, the Black 14 were honored at halftime during the football game against the University of Idaho. They received a standing ovation from the crowd
, McKinney said

Wow, the SJW's are working overtime looking through history to find incidents that they can dredge up to illustrate that we are all "rayciss" and that white people suck.

That's why SJWs are evil. They don't actually want to "heal" anything; on the contrary, they want to re-open old wounds and re-fight old wars in which the original combatants have long ago made peace.

Wyoming has been allowing a young running back named Brett Brenton run a bit....
Of course, injuries to real players with weird names recruited out of Texas, Florida, etc let this happen.....A few carries here and there, but he’s averaging 6 yards a carry (22 carries for the year, I think).....Wyomians should be irate...Brenton is another successful local kid getting passed over for the obvious talent.....He’s a walk on, as you could have guessed.

Logan Wilson seems to be building positive buzz going into draft season. Hopefully he is another riser like Vander Esch a couple of years back.
