Eric Weddle with an incredible 14 tackles, 10 of them solo.

Nick Kwiatkowski started at ILB after Roquan Smith was a last second scratch for "personal reasons" and led the team with 9 tackles, 8 of them solo, and 1 sack. It's a crime Kwiatkowski isn't a starter.

Jared Goff threw for 517 yards in a losing effort as the Rams' defense was MIA today except for Weddle.

Cooper Kupp went 9/121/1. His TD catch and run was a thing of beauty. He may be the most elusive receiver in the league.

Goff needed 35 more yards to break all time single game passing record. It would have been huge to get it on a game tying drive but they fumbled. Had a second chance in garbage time but they didn't throw it down the field.

Kupp with another 100 yard receiving game and Clay Matthews with his 5th sack.

On Football Night in America just now, instead of saying how Goff almost broke the single-game record for yardage, all Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison could talk about was how bad Goff looked and how he is "scared of pressure"! Unfu$%ingbelieveable! What blatant, out in the open anti-white racism! If a black quarterback threw for 517 yards, they wouldn't be able to shut up about what a great performance it was!

Every time Kwitkowski has started for the bears he has been tremendous, Nagy drafting Roquan Smith was a total spit in the face! He is easily the most over qualified MLB in football, I was hoping he would have gotten released after obtaining Smith so he could start elsewhere

It wasn't a great performance by Goff. The yardage came because Goff had to throw the whole game as Tampa went up big early and kept the lead the entire game. Goff was under a lot of pressure, threw three picks, and lost a fumble near the end of the game that ended LA's comeback hopes. What they said on Football Night is ridiculous, and Weenieworld actually wrote that Goff was "brutal," but it was far from a masterpiece despite his passing yardage, a disappointing loss caused mainly by terrible defense, which allowed Tampa to tee off on Goff. The o-line also takes a big share of the blame as Goff often didn't have time to throw.

Wow, doesn't seem like there is a ton of interest here on CF to watch the prime-time black quarterback battle between Dak and Teddy. I understand, listening to Uncle Chrissy slobber over them is hard to take.

Goff did not have his best game but he did not mail it in either. Did St. Dungy of the Caste System have anything to say about that CB who blew the coverage on Mike Evans? The narrative they are pushing is utterly false. If anyone has a chance at being somewhat of a Manning type QB in this generation it is Goff. Some uneven performances for our QBs today for sure - Allen had 3 ints, Cousins looks off - they need to get Rudolph involved in the offense. More good than bad as Daniel Jones and Gardner Minshew continue to play well - both exceeding the "experts" expectations while Murray and Haskins both look bad so far despite being 1st round draft picks. Ironice how both of those guys escape any sort of criticism. Mayfield had a great performance today proving he was superior to the mediocre "blank canvas". Remember two weeks ago when the Ravens were going to run away with the division?

Kyle Allen also outperformed Deshaun Watson and has played better than Scam in quite some time. The offense is clicking much more - Allen does have to work on his ball security some but it's a nice early season surprise considering his college career to see him outduel quotas in consecutive weeks (winning both games on the road). CMac looks better with Allen at the helm too.

Yea I decided I am not going to watch. Put Taysom Hill in and then the game might be a little more interesting.

Hill came in for a nice 18 yard run where he trucked the CB before being tackled. Bridgewater looks like the dink and dunk specialist that he is.

the announcers discussed a graphic regarding Bilgewater that revealed he’s only completed one pass that traveled more than 10 yards in the air in his performances this season, while over 90% of his attempts have traveled less than 9 yards.

he’s the personification of a “game manager” yet Al Michaels specifically rejected the notion that he’s a “game manager” and that some other mystical reason must be why Bilgewater is such a piss poor passer.

you can’t make this stuff up.

Yeah, it's a tough game to watch. These quotas are as dull as watching paint dry. I guess I can root for white defenders and Taysom Hill when he is in. I'd rather the Saints win with St Bridgewater doing little.

I just saw St. Bilgewater complete a TWELVE yard (through the air) pass to Michael Thomas. He's doubled his total already!!

meanwhile for Dallas, much-hated safety Jeff Heath has been superb, thus far. he’s a hard-hitting, sure-tackler in the open field, a VERY rare combination to be sure. his hit onTed Ginn Jr. caused the interception earlier.

for New Orleans, Klein and Alonso are flying all over the field. Klein with the beautiful strip of Witten from behind.

It is tough to watch indeed. And that N.O. defense, like many ludicrous D's in the League, ALL going into the end zone to celebrate a freaking fumble recovery and pose as if they just won the Super Bowl??! All Blacks, no surpise. Absolutely ridiculous display of lunacy...

Watch this MNF game from 1979 when you get a chance. Rarely a flag thrown, barely any commercials, no celebrating after every play. It's amazing how far the NFL has deteriorated from what it used to be. More people should watch some of these old broadcasts in their entirety, not just the replays.

I posted about this very thing in a thread earlier this week as I was watching the 60s and 70s games on yt. The game has fallen. Big-time...

A scintillating field goal battle at halftime. Must be due to the overpowering defenses, right?

What is the Dumb White analyst's major gripe with Jeff Heath? I have never seen him doing anything egregious on the field that would warrant such a severe critique

Common occurrence with black quarterbacks, low yardage low score game. Brees would have a field day out there 400+ yards 4td's

They just flashed the stats again. 2-4 on passes 10-19 yards. 0-2 when attempting anything past 20 yards. Unreal. It’s like watching a triple option quarterback attempt to pass except Melonhead isn’t a runner at all. The only thing he brings to the table is ball protection (which he’s not a wizard at).

I have no doubt that Taysom Hill with a week of starter practice reps would be immensely better. I’ll make the analogy again. The Saints offense with Brees is like a Ferrari and with Bridgewater it’s a Kia.

Well that sucked. VanderEsch made some great plays. Bridgewater nearly choked it away at the end. I only watched for Taysom Hill to maybe split QB duties which didnt happen.
