That's why I don't like Scam and am enjoying his slow decline. Neither QB looks "revolutionary" - just two run of the mill former 1st overall picks playing like journeyman QBs.

Yep had to tone down CMC's role to keep sCam happy. Wouldn't want a white boy to steal his "shine."

Newton sloppy ball protection fumbles it away while scrambling from the pressure. Anthony Nelson might get credited for the forced fumble. After almost 2 games, Newton looks like a shell of his MVP peak. He’s an old 30 with lots of wear and tear. Could be shot.

Also earlier in the broadcast, they did an obviously pre-planned talking point to mention Bruce Anti-Arians’ super, duper diverse coaching staff. They highlighted the two female coaches, one White and one Indian looking (call center, not casino). They waxed poetic about how proud Anti-Arians’ is of this achievement and Buck quickly quipped, “as he should be”.

Most interestingly they noted that the coaching staff was also the largest of any NFL team. A tacit admission that it takes more non-Whites and women to do the work a normal amount of White men are capable of.

What a poorly played game. Last Thursday's season opening clunker was a classic compared to this mess of stupid penalties, bad quarterback play and poor tackling, including a few complete non-attempts at tackling by Carolina players. Nowhere for McCaffrey to run, while Newton refuses to throw any passes to him.

And Bruce "Mr. Diversity" Arians is completely ignoring Justin Watson, instead still playing the useless mega-bust Breshad Perriman, while Scott Miller isn't even active.

Only Kuechly and Olsen worth watching in this great display of an inferior product.

The officiating and penalties are also adding to a poor product on the field. The game is over officiated partly due to the fact the worlds best athletes have the worlds worst fundamentals when it comes to playing the game.

Scam was never an accurate QB and looks to be more scattershot than ever. All of his throws down the sideline have been way off, lots of passes hitting the ground in front of the receiver or throws that are 5 yards off target. His running ability is greatly diminished - safe to say his best years are behind him.

That was a terrible call. Surely the Bucs saw that play last week and were well prepared. Having Cam walk away from the play made it obvious that C-mac was getting the ball. Cam was his usual horrible self - he's terrible and only getting worse as he ages and loses his running ability.

Joe Buck said several times that it was because of Fox's safety rules. . . it was ridiculous and pussified whatever the reason was.

Newton looks worse than ever, missing receivers by a mile. And, he’s not running anymore. He’s 30, and his career is not aging well.

I'll bet when he retires the mainstream sports media tries to put him into the Hall of Fame, even though he shouldn't be anywhere near it.

I would hope not because at it stands he is poor man's McNair and McNair is probably never getting in the hall of fame.

PS, they had the first round of cuts to the hall and for the first time ever Mike Alstott was nominated, so was Moose and Lerenzo Neal. I don't expect to see any of them make it but it's interesting to see them nominated.

He's yet another black quarterback who has experienced some success but won't have a long career. Actually it's already been pretty long by black QB standards but is short by White QB standards. Warren Moon remains the only black QB who played well in his 30s and even his early 40s.

Meanwhile Winston still isn't very good and never will be.

Guess we'll have to see if last week was the aberration for McCaffrey, or tonight's game was. With Newton voicing passive-aggressive resentment of how many touches Christian had last week and how well he did with them, who knows how McCaffrey's season will play out, especially if Carolina quickly falls out of playoff contention as now appears likely.

Carson Wentz took some heat late last season and into the offseason for supposedly being a "poor leader," but it was based on players grousing that Wentz was looking to Zach Ertz too often. And now it looks like Wentz has "learned his lesson" and Ertz won't threaten the league record he set last year for receptions by a tight end.

None of them have changed the position and the White pocket passer still dominates at quarterback, but the media just keep churning out the same tired line, forever promoting one black quarterback after another as the Great Black Hope.

If a black man had the brain of a White man and he could multi-task, then with the running ability he could succeed over the long run ala Steve Young. But the black man's brain simply is incapable. We will get the chorus lines of AHDIW, JaDufus, RGNOT and sCam from the ((media)) for time in memorial.

McCaffrey is probably the best receiver as well as the best runner on the team - if the rushing game is getting bottled up why not try to get him involved in the passing game?

As well as he has performed for Carolina, you get the impression he could be even more dominant in a dynamic offence like the Patriots, Chiefs or Saints. Newton's awful accuracy stopped them from gaining any momentum on almost all of their drives today.
