Pete's plantation hilariously losing to the Cardinals should help the 49ers out too as long as they take care of business next week - some dungbeetle on dungbeetle crime.

Looks like they are fawning over Mahomes now FootballDad - how do you handle this compared to Lamar Jackson earlier today?

Jones also beat Landon Collins on the game winning TD pass to Kaden Smith. Apke has been noticeably absent from the Redskins secondary since Callahan took over. I think Quinn and Apke will both be cut next year - Gruden was a pretty white friendly coach and did not want Haskins.

Uncle Chrissy is in full fellatio mode tonight. Every bit as bad as the slobbering over Jackson. Although he scored a touchdown on the run, it's always amusing watching Mahomes run, as he is not graceful at all. Nice to see Rodent Nagy let Trubisky run. He's a much more natural runner than Mahomes.

Of course we also get to see Thrashen's favorite defensive player, Terrell "walking fruit bat, er wrinkle-faced bat" Suggs playing for KC. He was just picked up after Arizona released him. Still looks like he's got some wheels at 37 years old.

So for the Chiefs on offense we have a Snowplow up front plus Travis Kelce. On defense Ben Niemann and Daniel Sorenson are in the game quite a bit. Chicago has Trubisky at QB, what a 1/5 O-line? Not much at skill positions, no wonder Trubisky struggles sometimes! On defense hard-working lunchpail-carrying Nick Kwiatkoski will once again lead the team in tackles.

Roughing the passer and illegal hits to the head calls on QBs need to become reviewable to see if there was actual intent. I feel these are the two most egregious penalties that really give the offense an unfair advantage. A blow to the helmet should be a play that is allowed to be reviewed for intent or if it is incidental. If incidental it should not be a penalty.

The main game I watched this afternoon mistakenly thinking WR David Sills would make an appearance but it became clear early on he wasn't going to show up. I was unaware he wasn't activated for the game. QB Daniel Jones is going to be a true star. He has all the tools and the mental approach too.

WR Trey Quinn and WR Ryan Switzer (Steelers currently on IR) are most likely done in the NFL. For some caste ass reason neither one were employed to do what they did in college. Instead they were asked to run endless one and a half inch curl routes which pretty much guarantees failure. Never given one ounce of space to maneuver.

S Troy Apke made a spectacular tackle on special teams today and was used as an overtime replacement for starting safety Nicholson who by the way totally whiffed on a Barkley tackle that led to a touchdown. You won't hear one peep about that. As for Apke's future it is tenuous but they may keep him around for another year or two depending on his development if you will which is a crock of you know what. The players ahead of him in the roster have been uniformly awful and Apke when given a chance played solid football.

[QUOT"FootballDad, post: 752024, member: 1135"]Jeff Heath and Sean Lee played outstanding defense in this game, they don't need to hang their heads. This loss is all on Dak and his affletic receiver corps with bad throws and bad drops.[/QUOTE]

Excellent observation. The Cowboys are thought of as some offensive juggernaut but in reality it is players like Vander Esch (now injured) and Sean Lee who has filled in playing like an all pro who make this team better than average. And of course S Jeff Heath their best defensive back but don't tell that to the blind bias press and fans with their casted up heads up their asses. And superhero WR Cooper? Just another stat stuffing black player who is not as good as his press clippings.

Gutty win by the Eagles who pretty much had to get by without their best player TE Ertz who was banged up. Luckily they have another stud TE in Goedert. But they need a healthy Ertz if they expect to move along.

Drew Lock with another solid game, 25 of 33 for 192 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos win over the Lions. Looks like the Donks might have finally found their QB for the future.

This is a pleasant surprise, how the heck did this happen under Fat Bastard?
It is shocking, but there it is. They've only all been healthy the last three games. It was a train wreck up front when the black backups, Cam Erving and that Martina fellow were swinging doors on the left side.

Ditto. I have been a huge Kelce fan for years. Not only is he an extraordinary athlete who understands how to play he is one of the most graceful players in the NFL. I truly enjoy watching him play and excel.

The TD he scored tonight it looked like he was walking his dogs in the park. He makes it look so easy.

The broadcast showed a clip of Mahomes counting on his fingers how many picks behind Trubisky he was drafted and Crissy of course says it was not mean spirited. Just another reason not to like the ******* Man.

One of the storylines of tonight's game is that the Bears took Trubisky ahead of Mahomes, and that the buzz around Chicago is "what might have been". Al Michaels pointed out that Trubisky doesn't have nearly the weapons that Mahomes has. But more than that, if Mahomes had been drafted by the Bears and thrown into the fire like Mitch, would he have been better? The year that Mahomes spent as Alex Smith's backup can't be underestimated. Smith, a true professional, took Mahomes under his wing and taught him as much as he possibly could. That is very seldom mentioned by the drooling masses.

lol! We don't know what Mahomes was counting about, it was just a funny that Chris made up. He's the one that is mean spirited. Mahomes has been class in interviews this week when Trubisky is discussed.

Lol. I guess we will see what was meant by it. I still don't like Mahomes and never will. Much like Lamar Jackson he is being hyped as a player that has never been seen before which is a lie on both counts.

I agree, except that Mahomes is a more traditional QB. Drop back, throw. He runs when he has to, similar to Trubisky (when allowed). Jackson is the "new breed" of running QB that has never been seen before, according to the media. Mahomes has just had a couple of years to put up stats that back up some of the commentary, but I think the jury is still out. Jackson is just maddening since he should be smashed with all of the running and the "traitorous(!)" white tight ends!

I agree with your totally looked over and never discussed point about Alex Smith and Mahomes sitting for a season. I really think sitting for a rookie season is beneficial if it is a feasible option but since I started following the NFL that opinion seems to become less and less popular. I can't really pinpoint when that shift in thought occurred - Carson Palmer and Aaron Rodgers both sat for at least there rookie seasons prior to becoming starters. You also mentioned Lock having another solid outing - I am cautiously optimistic about him as he has looked alot better than all of the draft "experts" projected he would. The time he sat and learned the game and playbook had to be very beneficial. I feel that he has the exact same traits as Mahomes and is perhaps a better athlete. Mahomes benefits from Reid creating an offense around him in innovative ways. Fangio does in no way inspire me as the type of coach that is going to take the time to draw up new play calls.

Mahomes was drafted by the Chiefs, the perfect storm. The Reid offense that was created for Alex Smith was a perfect fit for Mahomes. Smith's last year as a Chief he ran more than he had in the previous 9 seasons. Once Mahomes took over, it was an easy transition since Smith and Mahomes are remarkably similar QBs. Trubisky on the other hand had no such luck. Plus Nagy was busy sabotaging him all season with lame plays and playcalling. Drew Lock went through a few offensive transitions in his time at Missouri, so he's probably far more adaptable than many college QBs. I was concerned with his accuracy and decision-making, but so far he has been outstanding on both counts.

"Like"

Yea Lock was pretty amazing at Missouri all things considered. He improved every season in college. I thought his accuracy was his biggest issue but they may have been more due to the players and scheme he played in.

Travis Kelce with 8 catches in this game now moves his season total to 94. Depending on how much action he sees next week against the Chargers, he has an excellent chance at 100 for the season.
